    Fireman Assistant

    Responsible & Duties

    • Assist in the implementation of Health, Safety and Environment best practices in the unit.
    • Ensure the up-to-date servicing of fire extinguishers at all time.
    • Assist in the implementation and ensuring compliance of all HSE policies.

    Requirements/Skills/Qualifications

    • Possess HND or B.Sc. in any Social Science discipline.
    • HSE training and other related certification.
    • Minimum of 1 to 4 years cognate experience preferably on Electrical Safety, fire fighting and prevention.
    • Certification as emergency medical technicians (EMT) is an advantage.
    • Working knowledge of firefighting equipment and apparatus.
    • Knowledge of first aid/CPR methods.
    • A practical mind and problem-solving ability.
    • Successful passing of firefighting exams (written, physical, psychological etc.)
    • Willingness to follow legal rules and guidelines and firefighting standards at all times
    • Great physical strength and stamina partnered with the ability to dress and move quickly
    • Patient and cool tempered with the ability to function in a team

    Data Analyst

    Our client is seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to provide analytical support to the Managing Director. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.

    Key Responsibilities

    Data Analysis:

    • Collect, analyze, and interpret data to provide insights and recommendations to the Managing Director.
    • Develop and maintain databases, spreadsheets, and other analytical tools to organize and visualize data effectively.
    • Generate reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates on business performance.
    • Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities within the data to support strategic planning and decision-making.

    Executive Support:

    • Work closely with the Managing Director to understand their analytical needs and priorities.
    • Provide timely and accurate analysis of data to support decision-making processes.
    • Prepare executive-level presentations and reports based on data analysis findings.
    • Assist in the preparation of materials for meetings, including agendas, presentations, and reports.

    Communication and Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights from various sources.
    • Communicate complex analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
    • Work closely with the Managing Director and other executives to ensure alignment and support for business objectives.
    • Foster positive working relationships with team members and external contacts.

    Continuous Improvement:

    • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analysis and reporting.
    • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve data quality and integrity.
    • Proactively seek feedback to enhance the effectiveness and relevance of analytical insights.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.
    • Proven experience as a data analyst, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Microsoft Excel, Tableau).
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical audiences.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.

    Weigh Bridge Operator

    Responsibilities:

    • Accurately weighing all incoming and outgoing vehicles, via use of weighbridge software.
    • Create truck weighbridge entry into DDS and SAP for inbound trucks
    • Capture tare and gross weights for out bound trucks and issue appropriate document.
    • Direct trucks according to que token issued
    • Maintain appreciate weighbridge records for all inbound and out bound materials
    • Retaining and taking responsibility of all documents for all cement dispatches
    • Generate and circulate accurate daily weighbridge reports
    • Report and escalate weighbridge system failure
    • Ensure site compliance with health, safety and environmental rules
    • Maintain specific environmental and health and safety records
    • Provide other logistical duties and supporting roles as may be deemed by the supervisor
    • Coordinating and scheduling the delivery of vehicles.
    • Generating customer invoices, statements, purchase orders and supplier payments.

    Requirements

    • OND/HND/BSC in Logistics and transport or Equivalent
    • 1-3 years’ experience working in a Weighbridge
    • Computer literate and a quick learner
    • Good listener & exceptional attention to detail
    • Good communication skill
