    Financial Analyst

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assumes revenue/credit control responsibility and verify that all billable items are invoiced, including controls over invoicing at customer service office
    • Ensure royalty accounting and payment are done on time and correctly. Royalties refers to all NPA dues or bills, OGFZA dues and bills.
    • Ensure all adhoc invoices are raised and revenue correctly accounted
    • Assures quality and continuous optimization of financial processes as well as identify opportunity for process improvement through automation
    • Assumes cost control responsibility and ensure cost leadership is applied at all times
    • Prepare periodic cost centre reports to check departmental spend against budget and previous year spent
    • Engage with departmental heads to understand the spend and agree on ways to control, improve and take unnecessary cost out of their processes
    • Be responsible for inventory accounting to ensure correct accounting of inventory at all time
    • Work closely with other departmental analysts to understand and educate them on the impact of the department’s activities on the Financials of the company and advice ways of improving same to ensure positive impact on the P&L statement
    • Any other duties and responsibility as assigned by head of finance or designate.

    Requirements
    We are looking for:

    • Minimum university degree in Business or Accounting. Qualification as a Chartered Accountant or Certified Public Accountant, or equivalent is preferable.
    • Requires as least Five years of progressively more responsible general accounting and finance experience preferably in the private sector, audit and in transportations or related industry.
    • Must have a working knowledge of Management Accounting fundamentals and its applications.
    • Must be familiar with best practices in the professional field of accounting and financial analysis.
    • Must be familiar with commercial law, credit agreements, concession and management agreements, and other related legislation, decrees, and legal opinions.
    • Must have thorough understanding and working knowledge of accounting specific software. Requires proficiency in various software applications and programs, specifically EXCEL spreadsheets
    • Requires excellent analytical skills, including the ability to extract, compile and analyze data

    CCTV-in-Charge

    Key responsibilities

    • Supervise and coordinate all activities/operations of the CCTV control room 24/7(Night/Day Shift).
    • Receive and monitor mails/tasks as well as information on areas of threats and escalate for management action
    • Record and track all reported, and sighted incidences in the Logbook and ensure computer software applications are properly maintained.
    • Monitor 24/7, the surveillance cameras on site and escalate threats or malfunction of cameras to IT department and follow up for prompt resolution of the issues. Ensure the security management is informed as well.
    • Train the guards deployed to control room and ensure absolute security and enforcement of restricting all unauthorised entries.
    • Respond to fire emergency alarm from fire panel and clearance
    • Prompt liaison with external stake holders using emergency contacts on both safety and security emergencies.
    • Maintain all keys, documents and emergency appliances, equipment, procedures and standards in the control room.
    • Ensure control room standard operating procedures are always complied with by the operators

    We are looking for

    • University degree or higher degree
    • Security certifications will be added advantage.
    • Familiarity with international standards in Security and Environment or similar national standards and regulations.
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills
    • Relevant work experience in a control room

    IT Projects Assistant

    Key Responsibilities

    • Comply with APM Terminals IT standards, policies and procedures.
    • Assist in execution of specific IT tasks as regards the Terminal Upgrade Project as initiated by the manager or the IT Infrastructure Administrator.
    • Work with the various project implementation teams in the implementation of internal IT systems.
    • Perform assigned tasks by the Help Desk or the IT Manager.
    • Help resolving critical situations at the support desk level.
    • Coordinate and manage all network infrastructure related activities (expansion plan, new projects, spot tasks, updates) and ensure maximum availability of the deployed network to users.
    • Solve related problems to new network installations.
    • Coordinate physical changes, tests and other network integrations.
    • Perform periodically and in accordance with the procedures in place the redundancy tests of the deployed network infrastructure and provide reports to the IT manager.
    • Deploy all activities related to the IP Phone for the new offices.
    • Coordinate with the IT Infrastructure Administrator the new datacentre infrastructure maintenance plan (Servers, SAN) as initiated by IT Manager as well as the new power infrastructure (Inverters, UPS).
    • Monitor, collect and analyse infrastructure components (network, CCTV, radio devices…) metrics.
    • Ensure that for any network connection links, a backup plan exists, is implemented, and is tested periodically.
    • Ensure that all new OPS equipment (RTGs, RS, TTs, MHCs) are equipped with UHF radios and all functional.
    • Support the IT assistant in the supervision of preventive and corrective maintenance of the entire CCTV and propose possible expansions.
    • Identify any potential shortcomings of the CCTV technical system and report them to the IT Infrastructure Administrator.
    • Ensure that backups of the entire CCTV system are effective and are tested periodically.
    • Assist in the planning of additions, deletions and major changes in the IT infrastructure.
    • Supervise mast and towers' operation/relocations and new installations as well as their regular maintenance and inspection.
    • Ensure that Terminal Upgrade Project-related IT assets are kept responsibly.
    • Ensure that the IT assistant updates regularly and in accordance with the procedures in place, the IT asset management tool.
    • Manage daily internal interaction with other stakeholders.
    • Ensure that end-users are trained to use new infrastructure solutions.
    • Provide users with technical assistance and continuously seek for opportunities to increase their satisfaction.
    • Follow up with the procurement department for any supply from the demand to the material or service delivery

    Requirements
    We are looking for:

    • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with 2 years of experience in IT.
    • Have a good knowledge of Linux and Unix operating systems, as well as a deep knowledge of Windows.
    • Have a good knowledge of virtualization and data centre.
    • Have good skills in IT management – ITIL.
    • Have strong good skills in Networks, (LAN / WAN).
    • Have initiative mindset, be a good self-starter and proactive.
    • Be able to exercise good judgment and set priorities.
    • Being able to anticipate users' needs and provide solutions; constantly think about their satisfaction and be sensitive to the needs of other departments.
    • Being able to work actively and simultaneously on several tasks.
    • Have a good level of verbal and written communication in English.
    • Being good at time management because having to work in a demanding and constantly changing environment.
    • Excellent problem solving/analytical skills and knowledge of analytical tools.
