Role Description

• The Finance and Account Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Lagos.
• This role involves managing day-to-day accounting activities such as processing invoices, recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and supporting month-end and year-end closing 
• The associate will assist with preparing financial reports, monitoring budgets, reconciling bank and account statements, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and relevant regulations.
• The role includes coordinating with internal teams and external partners, responding to finance-related queries, and supporting audits and other financial reviews.
• The Finance and Account Associate is expected to maintain accurate records, provide timely analysis, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the firm’s finance operations.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail for financial reporting, reconciliations, and budgeting tasks.
• Candidates should possess effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with colleagues, clients, and external stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess customer service and account management skills to handle inquiries, support client-related financial matters, and maintain professional relationships.
• Relevant experience in finance or accounting, including familiarity with accounting software, MS Excel, and financial controls, is highly beneficial.
• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field is preferred; professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, ICAN) are an added advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Lagos, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adhere to ethical and confidentiality standards.
