Job Requirements
For your application to be successful, you must meet the following criteria:

• B.Ed / BA / PGDE, gained from a reputable Institution
• Minimum of 3 years post-graduate experience , thorough knowledge and understanding of the British Curriculum gained from working in a similar role
• TRCN certification is a MUST
• MUST be resident in Ibadan and able to easily commute to Jericho, Ibadan
• Be able to teach a full range of subject areas for this age group
• Must have well developed teaching skills in the core subject areas (English, Mathematics and Science)
• Knowledge and experience of teaching phonics is desirable
• Ability to write legibly and willing to learn/adopt the school’s handwriting scheme
• Confident in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Be passionate about teaching and able to provide our pupils engaging and exciting learning experiences
• Be able to produce and maintain high standard classroom learning displays
• You must have excellent English Language skills (clear written, reading and spoken)
• Have high expectations for behaviour, attainment and progress
• Have effective classroom management skills and evidence of outstanding teaching skills
• Have an understanding of the importance of pupil tracking and progress
• Have thorough understanding of best practices in teaching
• Have an appreciation of the importance of safeguarding in educational settings.

Job Description

• We are seeking to appoint an experienced Nursery teacher to work in our Early Years. We welcome applications from experienced Early Years Educators.
• Female Early Years Educator (Pre-Primary Class)
• As our Early Years Educator, you will be required to work with children in our Pre-Primary Year Group.

Qualification, Experience and Skills Required

• Must be resident in Ibadan and be able to easily commute to Jericho, Ibadan
• Minimum qualification required is (B.Ed/BA/PGDE) in English/Early Childhood Education or related; gained from a reputable university; plus a diploma or certificate in Montessori Education
• Must have TRCN certification
• Minimum of 3 years post qualification experience and understanding of the British Curriculum gained from working in a similar role

• Be able to support young learners with handwriting skills development
• MUST have creative skills such as music, dance, drama, art and crafts

• Be proficient in the use of basic computer skills such as MS Word and the internet to support your work and the children’s learning
• Have effective classroom management and teaching skills
• Be confident in your abilities to engage children and extend their learning through play, enabling their emotional, social and educational development.
• Be enthusiastic, innovative, creative and dynamic in delivering lesson plans that meet the needs of all children
• Be able to produce and maintain a high standard age appropriate classroom displays
• Be able to produce stimulating classroom and outdoor learning environments that promote independent learning
• Have an appreciation of the importance of safeguarding in educational settings
• You will be expected to demonstrate consistently high standards of personal and professional conduct
