    ERP Specialist - Dynamics 365

    Job Summary

    • Analyzes business requirements / functional designs and works with business teams, BSAs, and other engineers to design systems and application software, mentor junior members of the team for MS Dynamics 365 ERP F&O platform.

    Responsibilities
    The following applicable to the MS Dynamics 365 ERP F&O platform:
    Requirements Analysis:

    • Reviews, analyzes and gives feedback on requirements/functional designs.

    Software / Application Architecture:

    • Participates in architectural review process.

    Software Design:

    • Designs for larger enhancements and projects.
    • Conducts peer design reviews.

    Development / Coding:

    • Develops and maintains code for larger enhancements, projects and integrations.
    • Fixes defects and participates and conducts peer code review.
    • Follows design and coding standards and processes.
    • Conducts code performance analysis and tuning.

    Application QA:

    • Develops unit and cross functional tests, develops test strategies, executes test cases, logs issues, manages issues, recommends testing frameworks and records and runs automated test scripts.

    DevOps:

    • Defines deployment and release guidelines.
    • Defines and executes environment planning and cross-functional dependencies.
    • Documents the software configuration management practices and educates cross-functional stakeholders on the process and tools.

    Software Reliability & Support Engineering:

    • Captures, consolidates and maintains inventory of production applications, flows and systems for all the software engineering verticals.
    • Helps in preparing application support documentation.
    • Troubleshoots basic application issues with the help of knowledge - base documents.

    Reporting:

    • Status reporting, release management progress updates.

    Technical Project Management:

    • Provides level of effort (LOE).
    • Manages assigned development tasks to schedule / plan.

    Qualifications

    • Proven years of experience.

    Managed Service NOC Engineer 365

    Job Summary

    • The Managed Service NOC Engineer will be responsible for South-South backhaul and access fiber monitoring, reporting, and first level troubleshooting, using various network management applications and trouble ticketing systems to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.

    Responsibilities

    • Monitor the network in the South-South, providing specific updates, status, and performance of all the network components.
    • Responding to network alerts, diagnosing, and resolving incidents.
    • Answer all customer support-related telephone calls within defined timelines.
    • Receive and treat all customer access requests: MCLS and ILA sites within specified timelines.
    • Receive and respond to call-out tickets from customers within specified timelines.
    • Interface with internal/external customers on operational issues and related events, using the company's standard operating procedures.
    • Track remote hands requests with tickets and ensure they are updated accurately.
    • Open a trouble ticket (TT) for every fault/event and ensure it is tracked up to the point of closure.
    • Prepare weekly / monthly customer reports on remote hand requests, call-out tickets, and backhaul performance events and activities, as well as tracking escalations and other key performance indicators.
    • Maintain and ensure full compliance with all the company's NOC processes and procedures.
    • Ensure all customer SLAs are met.
    • Undertake any other ad hoc activity as assigned by the NOC Supervisor.

    Qualifications

    • HND or BSc Degree in Engineering.
    • At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
    • Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills.
    • Requirement for shift work to provide 24/7 support.
    • Problem resolution skills with a flexible approach to problem-solving.
    • Able to use initiative to tackle a broad range of problems, while still following procedures and processes.
    • Ability to assess and prioritize faults and respond or escalate accordingly.
    • Capable of multitasking, good time management, and prioritization of workload.

    Landing Provider Engineer

    Job Summary

    • The Landing Provider Engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Transmission (Submarine and Terrestrial) network comprising of network elements such as ASN, Nokia and Ciena equipment on the network.
    • He/she will also support the network facility (Cooling/Power systems) and work with the customer/OEM vendors/technical team and generate applicable reports.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide routine, preventive, corrective and diagnostic maintenance services for the Customer and Interested Parties' Separately Owned Property, the Submarine Terminal Equipment, Terminal Facilities, Terminal shore-end and Fronthaul Cable and Terminal Cable landing Station, according to all the manufacturers' prescribed procedures.
    • Troubleshooting and resolution of 1st and 2nd level network related problems on the Submarine, DWDM/OTN and ROADM network.
    • Perform careful analysis of all alarms on the Branch Common Infrastructure at the Terminal Station
    • Respond to and resolve network issues within the service level agreements (SLAs).
    • Review and execute RPRs (re-provision requests) on the network platforms with minimal supervision.
    • Support all aspects of the network management process assuring requests, implementation, and problems are resolved as required with no impact to the global communications.
    • Deploy and document changes in accordance with problem and change management process.
    • Participate in managing projects introduced by engineering team assuring full implementation and documentation standards are adhered to.
    • Able to interpret, review and implement networks designs from the customer & core network planning team.
    • Perform most effective approach to restore, recover, or alter configurations, logical or physical, to maintain service integrity.
    • Provide root cause analysis (RCA) on fault resolution such as fault clearance date and time, identification of Terminal Station personnel, the exact nature and cause of the fault, Terminal Station recommendations (lessons learned) and how to avoid reoccurrence of similar faults in the future
    • Support the Cable Landing Station power infrastructure, including power systems (Rectifiers and UPS) and backup generators.
    • Perform inventory checks periodically on the station tools and equipment as requested by the NOC or other parties
    • Ensure that the company's Backhaul and metro fiber network documentation is always accurate and up to date

    Qualifications

    • A Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent in Electrical/Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering
    • At least 6 years post NYSC work experience in the configuration, operations, and maintenance of DWDM/OTN equipment, optical fiber, SDH equipment.
    • Ability to review engineering documents and execute provisioning as requested.
    • Ability to setup & use relevant testing equipment (Ethernet Analyzer, OTDR/Power testing tools/instrument) and analyse results.
    • Ability to troubleshoot, identify root causes and recommend solutions.
    • Ability to install, commission, implement and configure according to design and specification.
    • Knowledge of fault management processes and procedures
    • Good oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to monitor and manage the delivery of service especially by 3rd party vendors rendered to customers.
    • Ability to operate, troubleshoot and maintain all networking/IP related technologies and protocols
    • Working experience on power systems operations and maintenance (Rectifier, UPS and DG)
    • Ability to interpret topography, network design maps and AutoCAD Designs
    • Knowledge of vendor management
    • Teamwork abilities
    • Demonstrated mastery of telecommunication industry standards, dimensioning transmission network element systems, ITU, and ANSI/ETSI etc.

    Core Network Planning Engineer

    Job Summary

    • Performs routine tests that support deployment readiness decision.

    Responsibilities

    • Handle transmission planning equipment inventory.
    • Handle transmission equipment procurement process and track equipment delivery.
    • Overall project planning, delivery, and update of the milestone project plan.
    • Support the team in the planning, dimensioning, and deployment of optical transport equipment
    • Coordinate and manage equipment deployment. applicable
    • Provide weekly reports on capacity, inventory, and utilization of transmission configurations. and carrier equipment
    • Provide detailed engineering documentation to support and ensure the success of required projects. This will involve site surveys, gathering field data, and generating reports on the current capacity and database.
    • Supporting the effective management and documentation/ assignment of infrastructures /Facility space, Racks, and ports in POPs.
    • Provide the required technical support for repeated operational issues.
    • Handle and track the RMA process for defective equipment.
    • You will be required to work closely with the Technical Sales team and Network Planning, Implementation and Operations team.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering or related field preferred
    • 1 - 3 years' related experience
    • CCNA certification would be an added advantage.

    Competencies Required:

    • Basic understanding of SDH, Carrier Ethernet Technology, quality of service and network management concepts is necessary
    • SDH, OTN knowledge and/or experience working in a telecommunications environment
    • Ability to interpret topography, network design maps and CAD Designs
    • Knowledge of a vendor network management system.
