    English Language Teacher

    Job Description

    • We are looking for a English Language Teacher who is keen on aiding this Institution achieve its core goals of delivering quality education to its students and helping them build great and sustainable interpersonal skills.
    • The ideal candidate will play an important role in teaching and assessing the students.

    Duties

    • Planning, developing and implementing curriculum to meet learning goals
    • Ensure proper execution of lesson plans daily
    • Teach students in details all the topics related to this particular subject
    • Provide extensive lesson notes for the students
    • Checking the student's notes regularly to ensure it's updated.
    • Practice with the students in class
    • Ensure the availability of learning materials and provide guidance to the students on how to use them
    • Maintain proper record of students' academic records
    • Assign assignments to students
    • Grade tests and assignments of students
    • Create a positive learning environment in order to develop the interest of the students.
    • Prepare the students for external and internal examinations and competitions.
    • Any other duty as may be assigned by the HOD

    Skills and Qualification

    • A Bachelor's Degree in English Language, Literature in English, Linguistics and any related degree. A master's degree is an added advantage.
    • A minimum of 1 years experience in this role or a similar role
    • Possess in-depth knowledge on the core subject and skills to deliver knowledge to students
    • Good knowledge of and practical use of quality and seamless training/teaching methods
    • The candidate for this role is expected to possess great skills
    • Good communication skills, analytical skills and problem solving skills with the ability to cooperate with other staff members

    Job Description

    Duties

    • Developing and producing visual aids and teaching resources;
    • Organising learning materials and resources and making imaginative use of resources;

    Head of Nursery School

    Description 

    • We are looking for a head of nursery school who is keen on aiding this Institution achieve its core goals of delivering quality education to its students and helping them build great and sustainable interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will play an important role in managing the activities of the nursery school.
    • The ideal candidate will hold a full and relevant qualification in Early Years at Level 3 or above, must understand and ensure the requirements of the EYFS are met and must have experience working in a busy nursery setting in a management position.

    Responsibilities

    • Ensure that all children attending the nursery receive rich and stimulating experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development.
    • Manage the day-to-day operations in order to ensure the health and safety of the children, their parents and carers, the team and any visitors to the nursery
    • Ensure that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
    • Promote and facilitate partnerships with parents/carers and other family members.
    • Support the development of good practice with regards to special needs and inclusion.
    • Support pre-school staff in delivering the Foundation Stage; ensure that provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the local EYDCP in relation to nursery education grant funding for three and four-year-olds.
    • Establish, develop and maintain highly professional working relationships with relevant Local Authority Departments, regulatory bodies and other agencies.
    • Create and maintain a culture of self-evaluation and reflective practice throughout the nursery.
    • Be responsible for ensuring the nursery remains compliant in respect of suitably trained staff with relevant first aid qualifications.
    • Be responsible for ensuring that all staff receive Health and Safety training.
    • Manage staff costs with regard to budget projections.
    • Maintain accurate records and accounts for the nursery system and produce management information as required.
    • Understand and utilize management systems and information to maximize efficiency

    Requirements

    • BSc or MSc Degree educated/Early Years Foundation Degree
    • Leadership Skills – the demonstrable ability to lead a team to achieve objectives to the highest standard
    • 4 years of experience in similar role
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, articulate with the ability to interact at the highest level with staff, pupils, current and prospective parents as well as other stakeholders
    • Experienced at planning and reporting, preparing reports for senior team regarding target attainment and outstanding opportunities
    • Organized and Efficient – a methodical and impeccable approach to office procedures, database management and record keeping
    • Excellent ICT skills, used to working with Microsoft packages and knowledge of CRM systems
    • Excellent working knowledge of EYFS and OFSTED Standards
    • Proactivity – ability to use initiative, suggest improvements to processes, prioritise and be proactive in managing workload
    • Excellent customer service skills and used to dealing with difficult situations
