General Objectives

• To produce and implement maintenance schedules for the engineering department, equipment, and container delivery, ensuring that all work is carried out to the Company’s standards to meet Production, Quality and Budgetary requirements.

Responsibilities

• To fully implement maintenance schedules to ensure that all plants are fully maintained in optimum condition to ensure that company downtime reduction, plant reliability and OEE improvement are delivered on all lines.
• To maintain and implement a planned maintenance system on all equipment with appropriate budgetary control.
• Create a flexible maintenance plan, capable of adapting to changing production needs. Monitor and modify this plan as required.
• Allocate maintenance work to engineering specialists and ensure feedback from them.
• Identify training needs of direct reports and prepare plans to meet these needs.
• Ensure correct spare parts stocking, necessary to ensure the operation of lines delivery equipment whilst keeping stock to a minimum.
• Responsible for implementing all new Health & Safety legislation and ensuring adequate staff training on these matters.
• Participate and contribute to Continuous Improvement (Professional Maintenance) and Zero Loss Activity.
• Drive energy and care and maintenance cost reduction within the Lines.
• Maintain effective relationships with manufacturing plant suppliers, OEM’s.
• Develop with the OEM weekly maintenance and inspection schedules and annual planned maintenance (APM) programme.
• All employees should carry out their duties in a responsible manner, giving due consideration to Safety, Environmental & Quality procedures, which are part of the Integrated Management System.
• Contribute to the health & safety of self and others by applying health and safety principles to the required standards whilst undertaking designated tasks.
• These are the key daily tasks and need to think outside of the box to keep the lines running.

Requirements

• Mech/Electrical Engineer / Certified Mechanical Engineer
• Canned milk processing and 3 pieces can making Experience.
• Management/Supervisory experience in the FMCG Manufacturing environment is essential

Responsibilities

• Providing timely and apt Technical Support to the customers so that Customer Satisfaction levels are highest.
• Follow-ups on the trial and commercial runs at customers.
• Support revenue generation through technical support, the sale of spare parts and services.
• Develop higher competence levels of the technical team through knowledge sharing and training.
• Develop cross-platform knowledge and technical skills for various types of aseptic filling machines

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess a B.Tech / HND in Engineering
• Must have 8-15 years of experience in Aseptic Packaging Company

Skills and Competencies:

• Excellent team player and ready to quickly adapt to functional and departmental changes.
• Result-oriented with a sharp focus on achieving targets set by Technical Services Department.
• Self-motivated with a passion for excelling in the functional role.
• Maintain excellent customer relationships, and customer happiness/satisfaction and ensure business continuity with all clients.
• Always ready to provide quick technical support to customers either by onsite or off-site support.
• Hands-on Work Experience of 8-10 years on Tetrapak Machines is a must. Must have carried out TPMS events on Tetrapak machines (TBA19, TBA8, A3 Speed, A1 etc.)
• Electro-Mechanical training on similar aseptic filling machines is preferable.
• Knowledge of Aseptic Packaging Technology is preferable.
• PLC troubleshooting for Allen Bradley, Siemens, GE Fanuc and others.
• Basic Knowledge of working principles of Electro-Mechanical instruments, equipment and technology is a must with soft ( computer) skills
• Good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
