Job Summary 

• The Eatery/Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing a small army of Restaurant and kitchen staff and overseeing the day to day running of the eatery and kitchen, including cleaning the equipment, checking supplies and rotating food stock. Supervises and coordinates activities of food preparation, kitchen, pantry, and storeroom personnel and utilizing food surpluses and leftovers.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing and coordinating staff and activities
• Make sure the Eatery and kitchen is safe and in hygienic conditions at all times
• Organizing the inventory, storage, and distribution of foodstuffs and supplies
• Helping to plan menus, apportion ingredients and use food surpluses
• Control portion costs by working out the number of portions per food batch
• Supervises cooks, tastes, smells, and observes food to ensure conformance with recipes and appearance standards.

Qualifications

• HND or its equivalent
• Must have a commercial cooking experience preferably for a restaurant or hotel, vocational training in catering will be an added advantage although not compulsory.
• Management or supervisory experience will be an added advantage
• Ability to multitask
• Basic literacy skills
• Creative and customer-oriented

Job Summary 

• A Cook (Pizza maker) is responsible for preparing ingredients at an establishment that serves food, processing customer orders, producing meals and cleaning their workspace throughout the day to follow health and safety guidelines.
• Cooks follow recipes consistently, make adjustments based on customer requests, communicate with wait staff and prepare garnishes to make an attractive presentation for each meal.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh
• Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients
• Bake, grill, steam and boil meats, vegetables, fish, poultry and other foods
• Present, garnish and arrange final dishes
• Occasionally serve food
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes
• Handle and store ingredients and food
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards

Qualifications / Requirements

• SSCE / OND.
• 1 or more years’ experience working with Dominos Pizza as a Crew member, Cook, pizza maker or related role.
• Working knowledge of local dishes techniques and the Intercontinental dish making process.
• Keen attention to detail.
• In-depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation, and nutrition.
• Flexible working hours, including weekends and evenings, when necessary.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced, production environment
• Must reside or be willing to work in Ikota, Lagos.
