    Dispatch Rider

    Job Description

    • Receive and dispatch orders to locations.
    • Maintain logs and records of calls, activities, and other information.
    • Responsible for contacting customers to verify the delivery address.
    • Responsible for picking up items and delivering them safely to customers on time.
    • Must be willing to perform other duties as directed by the Manager.

    Responsibilities

    • Daily pickup and delivery of packages assigned.
    • Ability to work without supervision and make good decisions.
    • Daily cleaning of assigned vehicle
    • Must be punctual to work and meet up with assigned targets.

    Requirements and Key Competencies

    • A minimum of Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSCE)
    • Experience: 1 - 2 years of experience and knowledge of Lagos Metropolis.
    • Enjoy motorcycling and be a skilled rider.
    • Possess a rider’s permit.
    • Be physically fit.
    • Be reliable and punctual.
    • Should be able to read and follow maps and guides, plan and learn routes.
    • Be friendly and presentable.
    • Basic knowledge of motorcycle maintenance is useful.
    • Organizational and multitasking abilities
    • Ability to work under pressure.
    • Candidates living around Isolo, Ijegun, Ejigbo, Isheri, Ikotun, will be given preference.

    Salary
    N40,000 - N45,000 Monthly Gross.

    Accounts Officer

    Location: Lekki, Lagos

    Supervision Received: Dep M. D

    Main Responsibilities

    • Required to work in the accounting team.
    • Processing of Account payables and receivable and reconciliation,
    • Payroll administration and PAYE remittances to LIRS, Carryout monthly Bank reconciliations.

    Requirements

    • Minimum OND in Accounting or Finance-related discipline.
    • Minimum 1 Years’ experience in Same / Similar role.
    • Computer proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas), Word and Outlook.
    • Must be resident in Lekki, Ajah, Lagos Island, Ikoyi, Victoria Island.

    Remuneration
    N60,000 - N70,000 monthly gross.

    Operations Officer


    Location: Lekki, Lagos
    Supervision Received: Operations Manager
    Supervision Exercised: Nil

    General Responsibilities
    This position exists to ensure:

    • Product delivery schedule at depots and timely deliveries to customers and vendors with no stock loss;
    • Timely collection and filing of signed waybills from truck drivers as evidence of products delivered;
    • Management of stock with vendors and periodical reconciliation of products lifted and products received by customers.

    Activities:

    • Visit Depot to ascertain product situation and product schedule based on customer’s request.
    • Dispatch trucks loaded with products to customers/vendors timely with all necessary documents based on request.
    • Ensure that safe to load checks are carried out on every truck before loading products and that loading-trucks comply with safety and other regulatory requirements.
    • Collate duly signed returned waybills from truck drivers and customers’ evidence of receipt of products and collaborate with accounts to ensure timely invoicing of products.
    • Prepare reconciliation statement of products sent to customers/vendors and products received by them, noting quantity variance, daily, weekly, and monthly.
    • Prepare accurate reports of activities of all trucks movements and deliveries to customers/vendors noting product loss quantities.
    • Prepare reconciliation statement of product receipts/purchased and issues/sold in quantity periodically.
    • Month-end checks, stocktaking from various customers /vendors.
    • Ensure stocks management at the states/ with vendors.
    • Ensure proper distribution of product based on customers’ request.
    • Follow up with drivers/ field staff/engineers for smooth delivery of products to customers.
    • Maintain a good filing system for all loading and receiving documents, including waybills and reports for ease of access and reconciliation.
    • Any other job which may be assigned by management.

    Accountabilities:

    • A weekly report of liftings and deliveries to customers.
    • Updated records and file of waybills signed by customers/drivers.
    • Monthly reconciliation statement of products receipts and issues.
    • Summary of products supplied and invoiced to customers.
    • Updated truck movement register.
    • An updated file of customers’ signed waybills.
    • Stocktaking reports.

    Qualifications

    • National Diploma / First Degree or its equivalent in any discipline.

    Experience:

    • 2 years’ operations or logistics experience in an oil marketing company.
    • White product depot experience working with transporters will be an advantage.

    Skills:

    • Excellent prioritization competency.
    • Ability to work with others as a team.
    • knowledge of the white products retail market in Nigeria.
    • Highly organized, able to work independently.
    • Analytical and willing to learn.
    • Knowledge of white product depot operation.
    • Up-to-date knowledge of petroleum products regulatory requirements.
    • Micro-soft office suites (excel, word, PowerPoint, etc).
    • Good oral and written communication.
    • Ability to work under pressure.
    • Integrity.
    • Strong inter-personal relationship.
    • Drive to meet set targets.
    • Entrepreneurial mind-set.

    Context:

    • The job requires a good understanding of Tanker drivers and their sharp practices, logistic issues, and optimization of trucks. A good relationship with Tanker drivers’ union to reduce conflict and minimize loss when lifting products.

    Salary
    N70,000 - N80,000 / Month
