    Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Adhere to all policies and procedures set by Havana Specialist Hospital, including but not limited to Medical Treatment and Company Policies.
    • Provide comprehensive care to women during prenatal, natal, and postnatal periods.
    • Diagnose and treat diseases of female reproductive organs, including chronic disorders.
    • Establish strong patient relationships to understand and address healthcare needs.
    • Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and examination results, using our EMR system.
    • Prescribe and administer treatments, medications, and therapies to manage illnesses and diseases.
    • Perform cesarean sections and other gynecological/obstetric surgical procedures as necessary.
    • Analyze test data and imaging results to determine diagnoses and treatment plans.
    • Effectively communicate medical procedures and test results to patients and their families.
    • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
    • Provide guidance on diet, hygiene, disease prevention, and overall wellness.
    • Refer patients to specialists or other healthcare facilities when necessary.
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of junior doctors, house officers, nurses, and medical trainees.
    • Offer general medical care and emergency treatment when required.
    • Certify deaths, complete necessary documentation, and liaise with relevant authorities as needed.
    • Contribute to the planning and organization of the medical department.
    • Represent Havana Specialist Hospital at healthcare-related programs.
    • Uphold patient confidentiality and ethical medical practices.
    • Provide on-call coverage for the Obstetrics & Gynaecology unit, including inpatients and delivery room cases.

    Qualification & Experience:

    • MBBS degree or equivalent with full registration from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) and a valid practicing license.
    • Minimum of 8 years post-qualification experience.
    • Membership in the West African College of Surgeons or the National Postgraduate Medical College (Specializing in Obstetrics and Gynaecology).
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
    • Strong focus on patient care and customer service.

    Pharmacist

    Key Responsibilities

    • Ensure full compliance with professional, legal, regulatory, and ethical standards governing pharmacy practice.
    • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, including inventory control, procurement, storage, and dispensing of medications.
    • Provide accurate drug information and counselling to patients and healthcare professionals.
    • Monitor medication usage to improve therapeutic outcomes and ensure medication safety.
    • Participate in continuous quality improvement programs, risk assessments, and audits.
    • Support the development and implementation of clinical and operational best practices.
    • Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date pharmaceutical records and documentation.
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.

    Requirements

    • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or its equivalent.
    • Full registration with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) and a current, valid practicing license.
    • Minimum of 2–3 years post-NYSC experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
    • In-depth knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, dosage calculations, and inventory management.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for patient care.
    • Excellent attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
    • Proficiency in the use of electronic medical records (EMR) and pharmacy software is an added advantage.

    Billing Team Lead

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and supervise the billing team to ensure prompt and accurate invoicing of patient services.
    • Review and approve bills before submission to patients, HMOs, and corporate partners.
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and institutional billing guidelines.
    • Track and reconcile billing discrepancies or disputes in a timely and professional manner.
    • Oversee claim submissions, follow-ups, and ensure proper documentation for all billing transactions.
    • Collaborate with the finance, medical records, and front desk teams to ensure smooth workflow.
    • Train, mentor, and evaluate billing staff to improve team performance and service delivery.
    • Ensure timely generation and submission of reports including billing summaries and outstanding accounts.
    • Identify process gaps and implement strategies to enhance billing efficiency and reduce revenue leakage.
    • Keep abreast of changes in healthcare billing policies and HMO requirements.
    • Resolve patient billing inquiries and complaints courteously and professionally.
    • Support the finance team during audits and ensure billing documentation is accurate and up to date.
    • Develop and enforce SOPs for the billing team in line with industry best practices.
    • Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in healthcare billing, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead role.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or any relevant field.
    • Strong knowledge of HMO billing processes and medical billing codes.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hospital billing software.
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
    • High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
    • Experience in a hospital or clinical setting is an added advantage.

    Physiotherapist

    The successful candidate shall be responsible for among other things:

    • Making assessments of patients' physical conditions.
    • Formulating treatment plans to address the conditions and needs of patients.
    • Conducting complex mobilization techniques.
    • Assisting trauma patients with how to walk again.
    • Educating patients, family members, and the community on how to prevent injuries and live a healthy lifestyle.
    • Referring patients to doctors and other medical practitioners.
    • Planning and organizing physiotherapy and fitness programs.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy/Medical Rehabilitation (BPT/BMR)
    • 2-3 years of post NYSC experience as a physiotherapist with good knowledge of preventive and rehabilitative medicine techniques in clinical cases.
    • A current practicing license.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • The ability to build and maintain rapport with patients.
