    Chief Security Officer

    Responsibilties
    Security Strategy Development and Implementation:

    • Develop a clear and practical security plan that aligns with the company’s goals.
    • Update and improve the plan regularly to meet new security challenges.
    • Work with other departments to make sure the security strategy supports all business operations.

    Physical Security Management:

    • Oversee the installation and maintenance of all physical security equipment such as CCTV cameras, security alarms, access control systems, fire extinguishers, etc.
    • Ensure gates, fences, lighting, and building entry points are secure at all times.

    Risk Assessment and Management:

    • Conduct routine checks and audits to identify security risks in the office, work sites, and other company premises.
    • Create action plans to reduce or remove these risks and ensure they are followed through effectively.

    Section B (Primary Duties & Responsibilities) Emergency and Incident Response

    • Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies such as theft, fire, protests, or violence.
    • Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services where necessary.
    • Investigate incidents, write detailed reports, and take corrective actions to prevent repeat occurrences.

    Security Policy and Procedure Development:

    • Write and implement security policies for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
    • Ensure that these policies are clear, practical, and in line with local laws and safety regulations.

    Staff Training and Awareness:

    • Provide ongoing security training for the security team and all employees.
    • Conduct emergency drills (e.g., fire or evacuation drills) at regular intervals.
    • Educate staff on how to identify suspicious activity and how to respond in emergency situations.

    Security Team Leadership and Supervision:

    • Manage all security personnel and provide feedback to team members.
    • Assign shifts, monitor attendance, and ensure security staff maintain discipline and professionalism.
    • Represent the security department in company meetings and contribute to cross departmental collaboration.

    Vendor and Third-party Security Oversight:

    • Check that contractors and vendors comply with the company’s security standards.
    • Review access rights, visitor logs, and identification procedures at all company facilities.

    Security Budget and Resource Management:

    • Prepare and manage the security department’s budget.
    • Recommend the purchase of security equipment and training programs.
    • Ensure resources are used efficiently and within budget.

    Regular Reporting:

    • Submit daily, weekly reports to the Facility Manager summarizing incidents, observations, and updates on ongoing issues.
    • Prepare monthly performance reports with recommendations for improvements.

    Transport Business Development Manager

    Responsibilties
    Strategic & Business Leadership:

    • Develop and execute the transport unit’s strategic and operational plans
    • Drive revenue growth and profitability targets
    • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and route expansions
    • Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts.

    Operations Management:

    • Oversee daily transport operations and fleet deployment
    • Ensure optimal vehicle utilization and route efficiency
    • Monitor turnaround time and service delivery standards
    • Implement operational improvement initiatives.

    Fleet & Asset Management:

    • Supervise fleet acquisition, maintenance, and replacement planning
    • Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are adhered to
    • Monitor fuel consumption and control operational waste
    • Maintain accurate fleet records and asset registers

    Financial Management:

    • Manage revenue collection and cost control mechanisms

    Section B (Primary Duties & Responsibilities) and Key Performance Indicators

    • Monitor operational expenses (fuel, repairs, salaries, tolls, etc.)
    • Analyze financial performance and profitability margins
    • Approve expenditures within delegated authority.

    Compliance, Safety & Risk Management:

    • Ensure compliance with transport regulations and licensing requirements
    • Implement health, safety, and environmental standards
    • Manage insurance coverage and claims processes
    • Investigate and address accidents or operational incidents.

    Team Leadership & Performance Management:

    • Lead, supervise, and evaluate transport staff and drivers
    • Set performance targets and KPIs for team members
    • Conduct performance reviews and training programs
    • Foster a culture of accountability and discipline.

    Customer & Contract Management:

    • Negotiate contracts and service agreements with clients.
    • Ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
    • Handle client complaints and service recovery processes.
    • Maintain long-term relationships with key clients.

    Reporting & Analytics:

    • Prepare monthly operational and financial reports
    • Track KPIs such as fleet utilization rate, fuel efficiency, downtime, and revenue per vehicle
    • Present performance reports to executive management.

    Qualifications

    • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor`s Degree with 3 - 6 years experience.
