    Junior Java Developer

    Our client is looking to hire an experienced Junior Java Developer to join our growing Product Roadmap team. The product Roadmap team is responsible for developing and enhancing our portfolio of software applications. As a member of this team, you will be using our full technology stack (incl. Java, Spring boot, Hibernate, MS SQL Server, XML, Entity Framework), within an Agile environment, to design and develop new cloud-based application features to meet our product roadmap goals.

    Responsibilities

    • Design, develop and maintain applications / integrations.
    • Create appropriate and suitable documentation, in accordance with our standards and guidelines (e.g., comments on code, design documents).
    • Learn new technologies as needed to successfully perform these duties.
    • Provide reasonable and accurate time estimates for tasks, and consistently meet deadlines.
    • Create and execute unit-test cases against developed software, to ensure high quality.
    • Debug software and fix defects uncovered and reported during the testing process.
    • Work with other software engineers, technical writers, and technical operations team members, as needed, to ensure quality and the successful rollout of new applications or features.
    • Attend and actively contribute to the Development Agile Sprint Review sessions.
    • Perform software deployment, as and when requested.
    • Provide post-release software and application support, including incident reporting.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technology, science, or similar.
    • At least 2-3 years' experience as a Java developer in a financial institution is preffered

    Requirements

    • A strong commercial experience of Java 8, Spring boot, Hibernate, Microservices, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MS SQL Server, XML, XSLT, DB Design.
    • Good knowledge of integration mechanisms such as JMS, web services (SOAP-based and REST services) etc.,
    • Good knowledge about strong encryption algorithms like-AES256,3DES
    • Working knowledge of agile development methodologies, particularly SCRUM.
    • Good understanding of software usability, Object Oriented Theory and OO Design, UML, Design Patterns, N-tier architectures, Web services, and SQL Databases with the ability to create robust software designs that meet the requirements.
    • Ability to communicate inputs and ideas within collaborative ad-hoc design sessions, presentations, and in written form to a range of audiences with wide ranges of technical knowledge and ability.

    Corporate Finance Analyst

    Summary

    Our client is looking to hire a Corporate Finance Analyst who will be responsible for analyzing key business performance metrics and identifying internal organic performance improvement opportunities. Additionally, assessing the balance sheet to determine the best plan of action for capital structuring (e.g., refinancing, raising debt/equity) as well as investment decisions (e.g., what the highest ROI projects are). As someone with strong financial acumen and the ability to turn numbers into insights, you will be a pivotal team member expected to help maximize shareholder value.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide executives with clear insights on drivers of business growth, risks, and opportunities.
    • Experience with Deal Sorcing, Due Dilligence, Support to portfolio companies and Ventures Capital- Fund raising.
    • Gather and assess financial results. Prepare financial reporting deliverables and explain trends and business drivers.
    • Execute financial due diligence projects on both the buy- and sell-side.
    • Determine appropriate valuations of investment projects through detailed analysis (e.g., modeling ROI, IRR, payback period).
    • Strive for increased shareholder value through your internal and external assessments and recommendations.
    • Build financial models using historical data and providing forecasts based on various industry-related operating metrics.
    • Source viable investment opportunity and support the Venture Capital team with founder engagements, preparation of information memorandums, conducting due diligence, and communication with members of the company's venture capital investor collective.
    • Develop and update Concept Notes and Project Proposals with value-adding propositions
    • Prepare budgets and financial reports that outline the company's financial position regarding income and expenses
    • Reviewing financial reports and managing budgets to ensure accuracy.
    • Overseeing and assisting in processing all payments, accounts payable, and research and reporting discrepancies as required.
    • Identifying financial and non-financial risks, and recommending actions to mitigate those risks. 
    • Assist with audits, reviews, and tax preparations.
    • Managing and documenting accounting records.
    • Applying appropriate sensitivity and scenario analysis to support investment actions.
    • Capital structure and comparable company analysis.
    • Processing requisitions and other business forms, checking account balances, and approving purchases.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Engineering or Mathematics.
    • 3-5 years of Corporate financial analysis experience in investment banking, management consulting, financial planning, and/or corporate strategy.
    • experience with Deal Sorcing, Due Dilligence, Support to portfolio companies and Ventures Capital- Fund raising
    • Experience creating financial models within a corporate finance setting
    • Experience developing analytical frameworks and communicating financial concepts

    Qualifications

    • 5-8 years of experience in Strategic People Management.
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
    • CIPM, SPHRi, SHRM or other similar certifications is required
    • Experience working at a top tech company, consulting company and/or start-up, and have quickly assumed responsibilities related to People/Recruiting/Professional Development
    • Deep understanding of HR requirements in Nigeria - international experience is a plus
    • Experience in developing and implementing HR and People programs that address and solve business problems and directly contribute to major long-term business objectives.
    • Ability to break complex problems into smaller ones and enjoy working with data to facilitate your work using tools such as SQL and Excel
    • Ability to make a good business case and convince people to help you execute large-scale projects
    • Familiarity with employee management systems such as Bento or SeamlessHR is a plus
    • Knowledge of Google product suite - working knowledge of Airtable is a plus
    • Thorough knowledge of labour-related laws and regulations.
    • Proficiency with HRIS and Talent management systems.
