    Regional Programme Manager

    Job Profile:

    Effective coordination of the activities of the different partners working in the three work streams are key towards ensuring that the project meets its objective. Specifically, this project requires that each of the four-consortium partner carries out their scheduled activities promptly as some of the activities are linked and as such time bound. Monitoring is also key to ensure quality is achieved and maintained throughout the implementation of the project.

    Job-role:

    The successful candidate will perform the following functions:

    • Support the Project Director in convening, organizing and coordination of review meetings to track progress against target in all the States under his / her IntegratE Project’s Regional structure through liaison and continuous monitoring of the Project’s Staff on ground at the States.
    • Represent the Project Director in high level meetings with FMOH, SMOH, Pharmacist Council of Nigeria, PSN and all other meetings at the National and State levels of the Project’s Regional focal states under his / her supervision.
    • Support the Project Director in building capacity of newly recruited Project Staff on the Project during orientation and induction processes in all capacity building activities related to the project in all focal States under his / her supervision.
    • Support the Project Director in carrying out all programme related advocacy meetings to create enabling environment for the project. He / She would ensure that the Project’s Quality Focal Persons in all State under his / her supervision has the capacity to do same in all the Project’s focal States.
    • Work with the Project Director to provide technical and administrative support to State program teams under his / her supervision.
    • Work closely with the Project Director in the discharge of all other duties related to the project that may be assigned from time to time
       
    • Ensure proper filing and archiving of all project documents and MoUs in all focal States under his / her supervision.

    Qualifications/Experience:

    • A degree in Pharmacy or any of the biological Sciences
    • Post graduate degree in Public Health or Management Science will be an advantage.
    • Minimum of 10 years’ Post Qualification in project management training & Managing family Plannning, Mataernal & child health programs especially among the private health sectors.
    • Experience in advocacy and policy work will be an advantage
    • Proficient in provision of various FP methods especially LARC
    • Must have PHC service experience
    • PHC and FP service delivery experience.

    Young Innovation Officer (Midwives/Nurses/Social Works)

    Job Profile:

    The Young Innovation Officers will support the design and state specific innovations and program adaptations at the field. They will be an integral part of the multidisciplinary team to design, test and adapt. Their deliverables will span Design & adaptation, Surveys, and documentation. They will be supervised by the Regional Coordinators and managed by the BCC Specialist They will also act as advocates for AYSRH in their states and influence policy on ASRH programming these states.

    Job-role:

    The successful candidate will perform the following functions:

    • Lead/ Co-ordinate the Youth – Adult partnership in the multidisciplinary team (bring in young person’s perspective) for A360 Amp design phase
    • Attend the Insight gathering workshop (Boot camp)
    • Participation in daily insight gathering and download of information and Participation in daily debrief meetings
    • Lead and Ensure visibility for the project activities in the state – routine and Special activities within SFH and with external stake holders
    • Co-ordinate the Commemoration of Special National/ World/ UN days in the states
    • Co-ordinate and document state adaptive implementation as well as learnings
    • Liaise with Regional Coordinator / PA to identify and document implementation gaps that stem from advocacy needs in the Community, L.G.A and State levels
    • Participation in synthesis workshops to identify themes / points of convergence and design opportunities
    • Leverage existing structures / systems (e.g. Conferences, TWG meetings, etc.) to facilitate a network of AYSRH youth advocates
    • Actively participate in State AYSRH meetings along with RC and PA
    • Lead Program / project Surveys and evaluations in the state: Mystery client, Client satisfaction surveys, Client Exit Interviews, Process Evaluations, PAR, Cost Evaluation, and other program Evaluation
    • Co-ordinate tracking and Reporting of referrals from all digital platforms to providers and Facilities for Counselling and/ or Services
    • Coordinate WhatsApp Group and other Digital Solution in the state/ field

    Qualifications/Experience:

    • Must possess a First Degree in Nursing or Midwifery (for states), Social Sciences and Humanities, Mass communication, Digital communication for HQ.Multitask, mentor and work with minimal supervision
    • A minimum of one (1) year post NYSC experience in volunteering, or equivalent NGO role

    State Programme Manager

    Job Profile:

    To coordinate the A360 project implementation in the state and provide technical assistance to the state Ministry of Health through the Primary Health Care Management Board with policies and enabling environment for the integration of the MMA approach in the state’s adolescent sexual and reproductive health through the uptake of modern contraceptive and economic empowerment

    Job-role:

    The successful candidate will perform the following functions:

    • Work with programme team to develop and share monthly operational work plans and budget for the A 360 activities activities in the state 
    • Implement and operationalize the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the promotion of BCC, monitoring and evaluation of program activities monthly.
    • Brainstorming with team members at all stages of plan formulation
    • Proposing and lobbying initiatives for the organization
    • Developing policy work and dissemination of advocacy briefs
    • Provide technical assistance to the state’s agencies (SMOH, SPHCDB, FP Unit and M&E officers) by building their capacity to analyze adolescent health data from the HMIS unit.
    • Facilitate and attend Adolescent SRH TWG meeting in the state quarterly and share report of meeting.
    • In partnership with State Ministry of Health and PHC Board, coordinate the integration of Adolescent FP service provision into state Supportive Supervision (SSV) quarterly and share report with HQ
    • Coordinate the state team to achieve 90% adoption & QoC rates projection for the A360 project monthly
    • Coordinate the state team to achieve 75% conversion rate and unmet need satisfied projections for the A360 Project monthly
    • Coordinate the state to achieve 35% mobilization rate projection for the A360 project monthly
    • Coordinate the submission of monthly and quarterly state programme implementation reports on the Adolescent 360 project by 6th of the new month.
    • Lead the identification and documentation of at least 2 key learnings, best practices and human-interest stories from the implementation in the state
    • Lead in the identification and collaboration for partnerships (internal and external) to address sustainability, develop strategies and document quarterly
    • Lead in the dissemination of A360 activities to the state, LGA and community quarterly
    • Lead in the data quality review and dissemination of A360 intervention to SMoH/PHC Board quarterly
    • Document and share state specific adaptive implementation learnings quarterly

    Qualifications/Experience:

    • Must be a Certified Nurse Midwife or possess a Nursing degree (B.Sc. Nursing, with current registration with appropriate national regulatory bodies.  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

    • Excellent interpersonal, communication (oral and written), presentation skills
    • Must have a continuous drive for learning and knowledge sharing.

    Quality Focal Person

    Job Profile: 

    The Quality Focal Person will Support the identification, assessment and selection of facilities and providers for the provision of services to adolescent girls 15 – 19 years, Provide supportive supervisory visits and on the job coaching to providers in all a360 facilities providing sexual and reproductive health services for adolescent girls 15 -19 years, ensure quality standards are maintained in all A360 facilities( and supporting Government led facilities) providing sexual and reproductive health services for adolescent girls 15 -19 years using innovative approaches for designing programs for improving the sexual and reproductive health of adolescent girls(15 – 19 years) and ensures 70% contraceptive continuation is achieved

    Job-role: The successful candidate will perform the following functions:

    • Lead the set up and implementation of all Adolescents 360 service delivery areas.
    • In collaboration with other Adolescents 360 team members, identify health facilities in the state willing to provide safe space for adolescents’ sexual reproductive health services.
    • Recruit facilities that meet set criteria by administering facility assessment checklists.
    • Ensure that the MMA Facilities identified as part of the network maintain recommended standards and abide by the contractual agreement at all time.

    • Conduct supervisory support visits (SSVs) based on needs as per the HNQIS/State schedule (in government led sites) monitoring plan and on the job coaching to MMA facility providers in the state to ensure quality standards are maintained.
    • Maintain a data base of all family planning methods and STI cases from 9ja Girls/MMA Network facilities in his/her state (analyzing use against supply to assist forecast for the preceding quarter, monthly.
    • Maintain a record of SSV findings from MMA Network facilities in his/her state.
    • Monthly analysis and action plans for State QoC from the HNQIS dashboard
    • Harmonize and submit monthly reports of Adolescents 360 service delivery activities, in the state, including MIS from the facilities on or before the 5th of each month using approved formats to the State Program Manager and Service Delivery specialist.
    • Develop quarterly work plan of Service delivery and Quality Assurance activities and submit to State Program Manager and work with monthly activity plans.
