JOB SUMMARY
Reliable Farm and Agro base Ind. Ltd.is seeking an experienced, versatile, and onsite Human Resource Officer to oversee and manage comprehensive HR processes across our agricultural operations in Elele, Rivers State. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between farm operations and workforce productivity, executing seamless HR strategies that address the distinct demands of an agribusiness. This role requires a dedicated professional who brings a minimum of 3 to 7 years of proven, end-to-end HR operational experience. Because our primary center of productivity sits right in the field, this position requires absolute willingness to permanently relocate and work out of our farm facility in Elele. A background or deep foundational knowledge in managing agricultural setups, large farm labor structures, or rural agro-processing workforces will be highly critical to success.
Note on Relocation: This position is 100% field-based at our Elele farm site. Candidates must be genuinely willing to relocate and base their daily professional operations out of this location.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Core HR Operations & Lifecycle Management
- Direct and coordinate the full employee lifecycle, spanning specialized farm labor onboarding, daily attendance, contract management, and off-boarding workflows.
- Implement structured HR policies, ensuring day-to-day personnel processes map cleanly to overarching company objectives.
- Maintain meticulously updated physical and digital employee databases, capturing accurate histories for permanent corporate specialists and seasonal field crews alike
Agricultural Labor & Workforce Management
- Design and roll out practical workforce planning mechanisms optimized for the agricultural calendar (planting, harvesting, and processing spikes).
- Direct the recruitment, selection, and orientation of both skilled technical staff (agronomists, mechanics) and daily/seasonal field laborers.
- Supervise farm labor dispatching schedules to minimize operational downtime while controlling overtime margins.
Payroll, Compensation & Benefits Administration
- Oversee regular payroll computations, cross-referencing field time-sheets, harvest piece-rates, and task-based wage metrics.
- Administer statutory requirements, worker compensation claims, health provisions, and localized field incentives.
Employee Relations & Dispute Resolution
- Act as the primary focal point for industrial harmony, proactively resolving conflicts between field staff, supervisors, and external local community elements.
- Promote a fair, non-discriminatory workplace culture that acknowledges the physically demanding realities of continuous field production.
Health, Safety & Compliance Monitoring
- Ensure farm operations comply explicitly with Nigerian labor laws, agricultural safety mandates, and localized industrial guidelines.
- Collaborate with farm safety coordinators to institutionalize personal protective equipment (PPE) compliance, field safety training, and incident logging.
JOB SPECIFICATION (REQUIREMENTS)
Education & Professional Certifications
- Minimum Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Human Resource Management, Personnel Management, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or an agronomically adjacent social science.
- Added Advantage: Active professional certifications from recognized professional bodies (e.g., CIPM - Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria, SHRM, or CIPD).
Experience Profiles
- A strictly verified window of 2 to 5 years of post-qualification experience actively driving full-spectrum HR operations.
- Demonstrated history working within an agribusiness, commercial crop/livestock farm, FMCG, manufacturing plant, or large industrial logistics facility with substantial manual labor constraints.

Job Summary
The Supply Chain Officer will oversee and optimize the end-to-end supply chain functions of our plastics manufacturing plant. This role is responsible for streamlining procurement, managing raw material and finished goods warehousing, coordinating logistics, and enforcing impeccable inventory control.
The ideal candidate must possess deep operational experience within a plastics manufacturing environment and demonstrate mastery over inventory tracking, material handling, and rigorous documentation. The primary goal is to ensure the production floor never faces material stock outs while keeping holding costs and inventory variances at an absolute minimum.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Inventory Control & Record Management
- Lead and verify all daily inventory entries, updates, and balance reconciliations within the company’s ERP system or inventory software.
- Maintain flawless, real-time digital and physical records for raw materials (polymer resins, master batches, and additives), auxiliary materials, engineering spares, and finished plastic products.
- Establish and monitor minimum reorder levels, maximum storage capacities, and safety stock parameters to prevent both production stock outs and overstocking.
- Plan, organize, and supervise weekly cycle counts and comprehensive monthly physical stock-takes, conducting immediate root-cause analyses on any identified variances.
Warehouse & Material Storage Management
- Supervise warehouse personnel (storekeepers, forklift operators, and loaders) to ensure safe, orderly, and efficient storage layouts utilizing FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles.
- Monitor storage conditions to protect raw plastic materials from contamination, moisture, or heat degradation.
- Oversee the safe and documented transfer of plastic resins and master batches from the main warehouse directly to the blending and production floor lines.
Procurement & Vendor Coordination
- Collaborate with production planning to forecast material requirements based on active injection and blow moulding schedules.
- Liaison with local and international suppliers to track purchase orders, negotiate delivery timelines, and ensure materials arrive exactly when required.
- Review incoming supplier documentation (invoices, delivery notes, material test certificates) to verify item descriptions and quantities before formal warehouse receipt entry.
Logistics & Distribution Supervision
- Coordinate inbound logistics for incoming raw materials and outbound shipping for finished plastic products to distributors or corporate clients.
- Audit and optimize transport dispatches, ensuring optimal vehicle space utilization, accurate waybill documentation, and timely deliveries.
