Job Description:

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Ticketing Officer to join our team in Abuja. As a Ticketing Officer, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, handling ticketing and reservation requests, and ensuring a smooth ticketing process for our customers. Your strong organizational skills and knowledge of ticketing systems will contribute to the efficient and accurate management of ticketing operations.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist customers in person, over the phone, or through email to provide information, answer inquiries, and process ticketing and reservation requests.
2. Utilize ticketing software and systems to issue, modify, and cancel tickets, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and procedures.
3. Provide customers with accurate information regarding flight schedules, availability, fares, and other relevant travel details.
4. Assist customers with seat selection, special requests, and any additional services they may require.
5. Coordinate with airlines, travel agencies, and other service providers to secure bookings, confirm reservations, and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
6. Handle customer complaints, concerns, and requests for refunds or changes in a professional and timely manner.
7. Maintain accurate records of ticket sales, reservations, and transactions, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
8. Stay updated with airline policies, industry regulations, and changes in ticketing procedures to provide accurate and up-to-date information to customers.
9. Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to ensure a seamless travel experience for customers.
10. Assist with any other administrative tasks or duties related to ticketing operations as assigned.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education or certification in travel and tourism will be an advantage.
2. Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a ticketing or travel agency environment.
3. Knowledge of ticketing systems and software, such as Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, or similar platforms.
4. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds.
5. Strong attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring precise ticketing and reservation processing.
6. Proficient computer skills and ability to work with various software applications and databases.
7. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
8. Familiarity with airline regulations, fare structures, and ticketing procedures.
9. Good problem-solving skills and ability to resolve customer issues in a calm and efficient manner.

Requirements:

3. Proficiency in architectural design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools.
4. Strong knowledge of architectural principles, building codes, construction materials, and techniques.
5. Ability to translate clients' requirements into functional and visually appealing designs.
6. Excellent drawing and visualization skills, both by hand and using computer software.
7. Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
8. Effective communication and presentation skills to convey design concepts and ideas to clients and project stakeholders.
9. Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics and spatial relationships.
10. Knowledge of sustainable design principles and a commitment to incorporating environmentally friendly practices into architectural designs.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Professional licensure or registration as an Architect.
2. Experience with 3D modeling and rendering software, such as Rhino, 3ds Max, or Lumion.
3. Familiarity with building information modeling (BIM) workflows and software.
4. Knowledge of LEED certification and green building practices.
5. Experience working on projects that involve historical preservation or adaptive reuse.
6. Candidate should reside on Lagos Island (Lekki, Ikota, Ikate, Ajah and Sangotedo axis)
