Job Description

• Collation and prospecting list of radioactive importers and exports ( in other to get in touch with them by feeding them with the latest information about the company ).
• Maintain a log book of all transported radioactive source.
• Follow up and ensure that renewal TLD badges are done as at when due.
• Maintaining existing clients relationship with the company and generating business by seeking prospective clients through phone calls and emails
• Inspection to locate unsafe condition and unsafe practices in the company environs
• Ensuring the general safety of the company as a whole including the staffs, including the staffs properties and consignment
• Identifying safety environmental hazards arising from the company's business and security threats to business as well as staff.
• To ensure good condition of shipments before delivery.
• To ensure risk assessment and conduct analysis of job hazards for work activities.
• Fulfilling safety requirements for work by ensuring checklist are maintained at site as per requirement
• Developing and updating safety rules, policies and procedures.
• Ensuring that all safety procedures, processes, rules and policies are adhered and reported if any deviation.
• Investigating incidents, accidents, conducting root cause analysis and reporting accordingly.
• Maintaining accidents records and ensuring that corrective actions is been taken to avoid re-occurrence
• Advise and assist personal with regards to safety matters for all field of activities performed in all facilities
• Request for rate from customers.
• Request for rate from partners.
• Follow up on all airline, shipping company and terminal company procedures in order to keep an updated file.
• Create database for all handling company such as NAHCO and SAHCOL.
• To initiate pickup for airfreight and sea shipment.
• To ensure that each transaction regarding airfreight and sea freight are created and documented, such as; Airway bill, FORM M, CCVO, Packing list, Invoice, NAHCO and SAHCOL handling receipt, job card, client quoted amount and partner quoted amount are filed and documented.
• To ensure all movement of airfreight and sea shipment from the port to the office and from office to customer’s warehouse are closely monitored and securely delivered without theft or damage.
• To assist in the opening of PPAR and to ensure that the process id not exceed the normal required period of PAAR opening.
• Ensure that all shipment delivered meet up with the quality standard of the company.
• Pictures of shipment must be taken before delivery and clear picture mail must be sent to appropriate authority capturing all necessary details of consignment.
• It is compulsory for you to inspect all shipment on arrival and before delivery.
