    Cafe Operations Supervisor

    We are seeking to hire a highly experienced Cafe Operations Supervisor to lead and oversee the operations of our Energy Bar section. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and managing the entire café operation, driving sales, improving customer experience, and ensuring operational excellence across all products and services.

    This role requires a hands-on professional with strong experience in café operations, coffee preparation, healthy food and beverage production, team leadership, and business development. The successful candidate must be proactive, commercially minded, and capable of independently setting up structures, processes, and strategies that support growth and profitability.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES.

    • Oversee the daily operations of the entire section.
    • Lead the setup, structure, and continuous improvement of operations and processes.
    • Prepare and supervise the preparation of coffee, healthy shakes, and other products.
    • Operate and maintain coffee machines and other equipment effectively.
    • Develop strategies and initiatives to drive sales, customer engagement, and revenue growth.
    • Ensure exceptional customer service and a positive customer experience at all times.
    • Create and implement operational procedures and service standards.
    • Monitor product quality, consistency, portioning, and presentation standards.
    • Develop new product ideas, menu concepts, and promotional initiatives to increase sales.
    • Collaborate with management on business growth strategies and product development.
    • Supervise, train, and manage staff to ensure efficiency and high performance.
    • Monitor inventory levels for raw materials, ingredients, and packaging supplies.
    • Reduce wastage and improve cost efficiency without compromising quality.
    • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and operational standards.
    • Prepare operational and sales reports for management review.
    • Identify opportunities to improve productivity, profitability, and customer retention

    QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE

    • Bachelor’s degree or HND in Hospitality Management, Food Technology, Culinary Arts, Business Administration, or related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in café operations, food service management, or hospitality operations.
    • Strong hands-on experience operating commercial coffee machines and café equipment.
    • Experience managing healthy food and beverage products, coffee bars, smoothie/shake bars, or similar operations.
    • Proven ability to build operational structures and drive business growth.
    • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to link operations to sales and profitability.
    • Experience supervising teams and managing day-to-day business operations independently.
