    Brand and Communications Manager

    Job Summary:

    • The Brand & Communications Officer will be responsible for providing strategic input and direction for the brand, as well as supporting the development of brand style, guides, templates, and other materials across all aspects of the brand, communications, and marketing initiatives.


    • Lead PR, branding, communications activities across work streams including fundraising, outreach and admissions, and academic affairs.
    • Work closely with external consultants to conceptualize and execute overall brand strategy.
    • Drive digital media campaigns and monitor all media channel analytics.
    • Measure and report performance of various marketing campaigns and assess effectiveness against goals.
    • Create and manage content for learning, management system, website, social media, blogs, intranet, and other internal communications.
    • Create communication collaterals including presentations, newsletters, event support materials, research papers, brochures etc.
    • Use search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to maximize the online visibility of our website.
    • Drive general communication and updates to donors and key stakeholders.
    • Copyedit and proofread all communications material.
    • Plan and execute email marketing campaigns with the team to spread awareness about the institution and build a credible brand.
    • Conduct competitive analysis studies on competitors, including digital footprint analysis

    Strategic Tasks:

    • The role of the Brand & Communications Officer will sit within the Project Management Office and work closely with the Delivery, and Director of the Project Management Office to create high quality communication and marketing materials.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in any media related discipline
    • 4+ years of experience in branding, marketing, communications
    • Agency experience will be an advantage.
    • Excellent oratory, writing and editing skills.
    • Strong research, planning and organization skills.
    • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
    • Result oriented and a good problem solver.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Strong work ethic, drive and energy.
    • Able to work in a start-up environment.
    • Positive attitude and demonstrated commitment to excellence.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to collaborate and maintain effective relationships with all stakeholders.

    Community Engagement Manager


    • Community Engagement: Develop and implement strategies to engage with local communities, stakeholders, and partners. Additionally, Organize and facilitate community meetings, workshops, and events to gather input, share information, and foster collaboration.
    • Communication and Outreach: Develop and implement communication strategies to raise awareness of community projects and initiatives and create engaging content for digital platforms, newsletters, and other communication channels.
    • Project Management: Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource plans to ensure successful implementation. Additionally, coordinate with internal teams and external partners to align project goals and objectives.
    • Monitoring and Evaluation: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness and impact of community engagement activities. Additionally, prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate project status, achievements, and lessons learned.
    • Moderation: Monitor group interactions to ensure adherence to community guidelines, maintain a positive atmosphere, and address any inappropriate behaviour.
    • Stakeholder Relations: Serve as the primary contact for stakeholders, communicating effectively to provide updates, address concerns, and integrate feedback into project planning


    • Proven experience in community engagement, Project management, or similar role.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Excellent communication interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.

    Graphic Designer


    • The graphic designer is responsible for the company’s visual outlook on online and offline platforms. The graphic designer is responsible for translating ideas and concepts into visually captivating designs across various mediums and delivering engaging designs that align with the company’s brand identity and client’s request.


    • Support the team with creating visually and impactful designs for print, digital and multimedia platforms, such as marketing materials, websites, advertisements, and other collateral.
    • Assist in the completion of assigned projects and prioritize assigned tasks including web development, social media, and graphic design.
    • Incorporating feedback and making necessary revisions to designs based on client or team input.
    • Ensuring that designs are consistent with the brand identity and guidelines of the company or client.
    • Keeping up to date with industry trends, design techniques, and software advancements.
    • Preparing and delivering finalized designs in the required formats for printing or digital publication.
    • Translating client briefs or project requirements into visual designs that effectively communicate the intended message.
    • Creating images and layouts manually or using design software.
    • Performs special projects as requested.
    • Create guidelines for how logos and other branding materials should be displayed and used.
    • Advise best practices and optimizations throughout design projects.
    • Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.
    • Establish creative direction for the company within brand guidelines.

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in graphic design or a related field.
    • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout composition.
    • Ability to work creatively and independently, while also collaborating effectively with teams.
    • Knowledge of printing processes, file preparation, and production considerations.


    • Have a high level of creativity to develop unique and visually appealing designs that effectively communicate messages or concepts.
    • Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or other similar tools.
    • Proficiency in image editing software allows graphic designers to manipulate and enhance images, as well as incorporate them into designs.
    • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills to meet project deadlines.
    • Strong communication skills to effectively present and articulate design concepts.
    • Familiarity with branding principles and marketing concepts.
