    Brand and Communication Officer

    Responsibilities

    • Formulate PR plans and strategies
    • Enhance the company’s voice and presence through online and offline channels
    • Manage media relations and requests
    • Write press releases, speeches and other PR copy
    • Plan and supervise events, fairs, conferences etc.
    • Support the implementation of promotional plans
    • Present solutions in times of PR crisis
    • Facilitate the resolution of disputes with the public or external vendors
    • Lead survey initiatives and analyze public opinion
    • Draft press releases, pitches, case studies, white papers, and media summaries
    • Build relationships with new media contacts and maintain relationships with existing contacts
    • Manage media requests in a timely and professional manner
    • Pitch story ideas and content to media
    • Ensure all communication is cohesive with the brand image
    • Track and analyze media coverage to inform future campaigns
    • Measure PR program impacts using regular reporting
    • Organize, schedule, and prepare key leaders for press interviews
    • Research advertising trends
    • Research competitors’ pricing and products
    • Decide on appropriate placement of ads
    • Determine what content will reach customers
    • Develop projects to create content
    • Publish digital marketing content online
    • Implement email marketing campaigns
    • Analyze digital data to draw key recommendations around website optimization
    • Conduct social media audits to ensure best practices are being used
    • Maintain digital dashboard of several different accounts
    • Coordinate with sales team to create marketing campaigns
    • Prepare emails to send out to customers
    • Monitor key online marketing metrics to track success
    • Create and maintain online listings across e-commerce platforms
    • Ensure that the brand message is consistent
    • Manages all social media for the group and post regularly
    • Any other assigned assignment by the GMD

    Requirements

    • B.Sc / BA in PR, Communications, Journalism or relevant field
    • Proven experience as public relations specialist or similar position
    • Experience in project management and execution of PR campaigns and/or initiatives
    • Experience in copywriting and editing
    • Working knowledge of MS Office; photo and video-editing software is an asset
    • Familiarity with social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook etc.)
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Aptitude in presentation and public speaking
    • Proficiency in English
    • A creative yet practical mind.

    Research Analyst

    Job Description

    • Provide support to all research studies and prepare information brochures and required materials for all prospective investors.
    • Maintain databases and analyze all market intelligence programs.
    • Prepare various capital market reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
    • Prepare various macroeconomic reports and their impact on various investments on a regular basis.
    • Oversee data collection, and analysis for research studies, surveys, and strategic plan reviews
    • Prepare and submit reports and presentations for research studies, surveys, and investor/issuer/policy makers’ education and outreach campaigns
    • Write research papers/articles on various aspects of the capital markets for journals, newspapers, and other print media.
    • Make presentations to various forums e.g., investors, market intermediaries, policy makers/line ministry, financial sector regulators, trade/professional associations, professional bodies and issuers when called upon
    • Collect data on consumers, competitors and market place and consolidate information into actionable items, reports and presentations
    • Provide competitive analysis on various companies’ market offerings; identify market trends, pricing/business models, sales and methods of operation
    • Remain fully informed on market trends, and other parties’ research and implement best practices
    • To maintain confidentiality and observe data protection and associated guidelines where appropriate.
    • Take on any other assignments as may be directed by the Company/Department.

    Qualifications

    • University Degree / HND in Statistics, Finance, Economics or related field;
    • Possession of a postgraduate academic or professional qualification in a relevant discipline will be an added advantage;
    • Minimum of 5+ years of work experience in Research;
    • Knowledge of Bloomberg, Reuters and other financial information platforms is a plus
