    Book Keeping Accountant

    Responsibilities

    • Ensure timely reconciliation of financial reporting records on inventory, payables, receivables, asset, banks, loan and other infrequent transactions
    • Assist in monitoring and ensuring adequate controls over financial administration, expenditures, and asset management across department
    • Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transaction including complete documentation and processing of transaction
    • Responsible for posting of inventory and cost of sales ledgers including generating production variances and analysis of changes observed during each reporting date
    • Generate reports consistent with statutory audit requirement in the required format for internal use.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of HND in Finance, Accounting or related discipline from a recognised institution
    • Candidate must possess relevant professional qualification (ICAN, ACCA) or in progress
    • At least 2 years relevant accounting and financeexperience
    • Good knowledge of accounting package required
    • Ability to analyse financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections
    • Understanding and up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements for financial reporting (including IFRSs) is an advantage.

    Management Trainee / Trainee Accountant

    Responsibilities

    • Assist the Treasury, Financial Reporting and Management Accounting unit with extra work load delegated
    • Undergo continuous hands on training on all departmental functions
    • Assist in posting financial transactions on ERP such as invoices/advances/ cost refund and also generating schedules on balances of ledger items
    • Assist in proper record keeping including filing, document handling and retrieval and manage the records handling system.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of HND in Finance, Accounting or related discipline from a recognised institution
    • 0 - 1 year work experience
    • Candidate must indicate interest to write professional examination as part of continuous training and development.
    • Good knowledge of basic bookkeeping and communication skills is an added advantage.
    • Good knowledge of record keeping, and document management also required.
    • Good knowledge of MS Office.

    Treasury Manager

    Responsibilities

    • Perform general treasury functions for Sokoto Plant such as facilitation of payments, receipts, trade finance, etc.
    • Ensure efficient and effective functioning of the Treasury Unit
    • Support the Finance Director and other senior Finance Department staff in efficient management of cash and other liquid assets of the company
    • Render regular reports of Treasury position to Finance Director
    • Supervise all staff in the Treasury Unit
    • Tactically ensure the minimization of finance cost, optimizing of finance income and maximization of the company’s revenue.
    • Relates with banks and other non-financial institutions on treasury related issues.
    • Assist in monitoring and ensuring adequate controls over financial administration, expenditures and asset management across department

    Qualifications

    • B.Sc / HND in Finance, Accounting or related discipline from a recognised institution
    • Candidate must have relevant professional qualification (ICAN, ACCA, ANAN, ACI certificate, Institute of Treasury Management, etc.)
    • At least five (5) years relevant banking or treasury/accounting/management/ manufacturing and finance experience required
    • Good knowledge of ERP and MS Office
    • Good knowledge of quantitative analysis tools
    • Good knowledge of banking regulations.

    IT Trainee / Trainee Analyst Programmer

    Responsibilities

    • Support the IT Manager and IT Officers in day to day monitoring and maintenance of IT infrastructures in the company
    • See to proper documentation of IT infrastructures and maintenance of IT asset register
    • Assist in resolve IT issues in the company.
    • Assist in monitoring and ensuring adequate controls over IT infrastructure, financial administration, expenditures and asset management across department.

    Qualifications

    • B.Sc/HND in Computer Science, Programming or Computer engineering or other related discipline from a recognised institution
    • Must be willing to pursue IT related certifications as part of personal development
    • Candidate should possess one year’s relevant in IT related functions
    • Good knowledge of software and hardware management.
    • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure.
