    Bank Teller

    Role Description

    • This is a full-time on-site role for a Bank Teller located in Lagos.
    • The Bank Teller will be responsible for handling financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and money orders.
    • Day-to-day tasks include assisting customers with account inquiries, managing and balancing cash drawers, processing loan payments, and ensuring compliance with banking policies and procedures.
    • The role requires maintaining accurate records of transactions and providing exceptional customer service to enhance customer satisfaction.

    Investment & Market Risk Officer

    Core Responsibilities

    As an Investment & Market Risk Officer, your responsibilities will include:

    • Investment Appraisals: Evaluate risks and potential returns of new and existing investments, including credit risk analysis, financial projections, and credit ratings.
    • Risk Reporting: Prepare comprehensive monthly and quarterly investment risk reports for senior management and the board.
    • Data Analysis & Dashboards: Develop, maintain, and improve risk and performance dashboards to monitor key metrics across funds, operational risks, and information security.
    • Market Monitoring: Track local and global economic trends and assess their potential impact on investments.
    • Model Management: Maintain and update risk models (e.g., VaR, concentration models) and design new models to strengthen risk assessment capabilities.
    • Risk Limits & Benchmarks: Establish, monitor, and enforce investment risk benchmarks to guide the investment team.
    • Incident Reporting: Prepare reports on risk incidents and policy breaches, ensuring timely resolution and escalation.
    • Audit & Compliance Support: Collaborate with audit teams to support annual financial reporting, including Expected Credit Loss (ECL) and Asset & Liability Matching calculations.
    • Policy & Governance: Participate in committees, contribute to drafting policies, and perform other duties assigned by the Head of Risk Management.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
    • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in investment risk, market risk, or related financial risk roles.

    Technical Skills:

    • In-depth knowledge of IFRS, ISA, corporate finance, and financial markets.
    • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools.
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

    Professional Attributes:

    • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
    • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
    • Ability to work collaboratively across departments (Fund Accounting, Investment, Audit, and Compliance).

    Requirements and Skills

    • HND or BSc degree.
    • Proven experience as an Insurance Sales Representative
    • Good comprehension of insurance plans including automobile, fire, life, property, medical etc.
    • Ability to work with computers and understand and interpret standard statistical findings
    • Goal-oriented
    • Excellent skills in communication and presentation
    • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions and in creating long-lasting relationships
