    Audit Supervisor

    Job Summary

    • The Audit Supervisor is responsible for conducting risk-based internal audits, evaluating the effectiveness of internal control systems, and performing fraud investigations and whistle-blowing reviews within the organisation.
    • The role ensures compliance with policies, laws, and regulations while safeguarding company assets and enhancing governance.
    • The position also supports continuous improvement, fraud prevention initiatives, and overall control awareness across business units.

    Job Details
    Internal Audit & Assurance:

    • Assist in planning and performing operational, financial, and compliance audits.
    • Conduct walkthroughs, sampling, data testing, and documentation of audit evidence.
    • Maintain accurate working papers in line with professional standards.
    • Evaluate controls and process compliance and support reporting of improvement suggestions.

    Fraud Investigation & Whistle-blowing Reviews:

    • Participate in fraud and misconduct investigations as assigned.
    • Perform initial data checks, document reviews, and prepare evidence files.
    • Support interviews and maintain confidentiality of case records.
    • Assist in preparing investigation summaries and tracking corrective actions.

    Risk Management & Controls Assessment:

    • Contribute to risk assessments and identification of fraud red flags.
    • Provide advisory support on strengthening controls when opportunities arise.
    • Help promote awareness of internal control and fraud prevention practices.

    Compliance & Governance:

    • Ensure organisational practices comply with internal policies, regulatory provisions, and professional standards.
    • Support external audits, regulatory reviews, and management assurance initiatives.
    • Promote ethical culture and control awareness through training and engagement sessions.

    Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Prepare timely internal audit and special reports (e.g. investigation reports) with high-quality insights and recommendations.
    • Maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders within the organisation.
    • Participate in meetings with process owners to discuss observations and solutions.

    Requirements

    • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. 
    • Recognized professional in Accounting, Risk Management, and Internal Audit with ACA, ACCA, or CIA certification. 
    • A minimum of 7 years’ experience in any business function.

    HDD / HTB Manager

    Job Summary

    • The HDD/HTB Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) and Horizontal Trenchless Boring (HTB) activities across assigned projects.
    • The role ensures technical accuracy, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and safe delivery of trenchless crossings in line with project specifications and industry standards.
    • The position also provides strategic leadership to HDD/HTB crews, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure quality, cost, and schedule performance.

    • Under minimal supervision provides direct instruction and supervision to junior Field Engineers on day-to-day worksite and activities
    • Provide resolution to a diverse scope and range of complex problems at the drilling site where analysis of data requires having a broad knowledge of the Product line
    • Under general supervision, provides on-site supervision of the Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) process including projection of bore path to predetermined target coordinates
    • Understands principles of Bottom Hole assembly (BHA) selection and aspects of HDD performance and ensures that BHA's are assembled as planned to include correct make-up torque, doping and handling
    • Effective HDD Operations Management: Oversees and ensures successful operation of HDD activities in the division. Ensure 100% achievement of all defined outcome for the HDD unit. Maximizes processes and procedures while meeting organisation’s expectations in terms of cost-effectiveness, quality, safety, operational efficiency, etc.
    • Efficient Project Execution: Lead the comprehensive planning, coordination, and successful execution of HDD projects, collaborating with stakeholders to establish objectives, timelines, and budgets, while ensuring optimal project progress and resource allocation.
    • Effective Team Leadership: Oversee the effective output from the HDD team. Oversee training and managing a proficient team of HDD drill operators and support staff. Provide mentoring, evaluations, and guidance, fostering a culture of teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement to achieve high levels of competence and productivity.
    • Optimized Equipment and Resource Management: Oversee the utilization and maintenance of HDD equipment and other trucks, ensuring operational efficiency and proper inventory management. Ensure preventive maintenance and repairs of all HDD machines and all trucks, enhancing overall equipment reliability. Ensure all equipment are at optimal state and performance at all times. Ensure maintenance schedules are strictly adhered to. Ensure effective use of all equipment and truck for maximum output. Ensure proper material and resource planning and efficient utilisation for optimal outcome.
    • Quality Assurance and Client Satisfaction: Establish stringent quality control measures, collaborating with Planning and Design engineers to verify bore route accuracy and alignment. Ensure optimal quality control and assurance on all operations. Ensure all operations are delivered without damages to third party infrastructure while also always ensuring quality deployment. Maintain open communication with clients, manage their concerns, and cultivate strong relationships to ensure project satisfaction.
    • Safety Culture and Compliance: Instil a robust safety culture across all HDD operations by implementing comprehensive protocols and procedures. Conduct regular safety training sessions, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations, and minimizing operational risks.
    • Financial Oversight: Prepare and manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and provide insightful financial reports to senior management. Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements to ensure cost-effective project management.
    • Liaison Management: Provide liaison responsibilities and ensure smooth operations by effectively managing community issues, regulatory engagements and property owners’ issues.
    • Continuous Improvement and Innovation: Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices in HDD operations. Initiate and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, optimize resource utilization, and drive the division's overall excellence.

    Requirements

    • Academic: University Degree in Engineering or Applied Sciences.
    • Professional certification or HDD-specific training is an added advantage
    • At least 15 years in the Oil and Gas Construction industry, with experience in pipeline / fibre cable installation with 5 years in leadership role.
    • Extensive experience in HDD operations, including hands-on experience as an HDD drilling superintendent.
    • Demonstrated experience managing large-diameter pipeline crossings and complex geology.
