    Associate, Resolution

    The Resolution team provides telephonic and online issue resolution support to parents, school staff, community members and members of the general public. This department is the first-line resolution centre for any and all issues that may arise at the school or community level. The team manages multiple contact channels (such as phone, email, Whatsapp, and the web) to handle inquiries, and provide resolution. The team also works closely with all departments to ensure that all issues not resolved by them are escalated to the appropriate department within the organization for prompt resolution. The team also plays a critical role in recording and tracking reported issues to support the identification of system-wide strategic improvements.

    About the Role

    • The role will be reporting to the Resolution Manager.
    • The Resolution Associate will be responsible for ensuring Bridge customers/callers receive excellent customer support.
    • The Resolution Associate will also resolve recipient questions and resolve any issues within their mandate.
    • This position will reward strong service skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with staff.

    What You Will Do

    • Manage incoming calls from school sites, supervisors and Regional Managers
    • Identify and assess callers’ needs to achieve satisfaction/ Resolution 
    • Provide accurate, valid feedback and complete information by using the right systems and methods.
    • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
    • Keep records of customer interactions through creating tickets and other tools/systems.
    • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
    • Monitor internal system tools and identify issues for resolution 
    • Work with School Supervisors, Principals and the school team to resolve issues arising from schools
    • Performed other duties as assigned by the Resolution Team Manager

    What You Should Have

    • Bachelor’s Degree, Passion for Bridge’s vision of educating every child. 
    • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
    • Excellent communication skills with a good command of English
    • Ability to multitask, manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
    • Good typing speed. At least 25 words per minute with an accuracy of 85%
    • Ability to handle complaints in a polite; empathetic and professional manner
    • Ability to use a positive, constructive, and solution-focused approach whenever conflict arises
    • Positive attitude and enthusiasm when faced with routine work
    • Ability to multitask
    • High levels of integrity and confidentiality of recipient information.
    • Ability to work under pressure 
    • Experience using Excel, Google Suite and Gmail is desirable

    Regional Manager, Schools

    What You Will Do

    • Work closely with a large group of Schools Supervisors in your territory to ensure that they are operating at the highest levels.
    • Work closely with the Training Manager to ensure feedback from the field is translated to effective training content, systems and processes which further empower Teachers and Headmasters to lead successful schools.
    • Empower Schools Supervisors to focus intensely on instructional leadership, including each teacher completing the scheduled lessons each day; on positive classroom and school management without corporal punishment; and school strength through retention, which is a sign of parents’ belief in the positive contribution of the school. 
    • Provide management oversight to Schools Supervisors in your region or territory and ensure operating performance and instructional learning targets are met.
    • Provide coaching and mentoring to Schools Supervisors in your region to help develop their management skills and support achievement of their academy goals.
    • Regional Managers completely own (and therefore, are accountable for) the performance metrics of all of the schools in their territory, as measured by operational and instructional benchmarks.
    • This role requires a constant presence at the schools and close interaction with each School Head or School Administrator to ensure that there is continuous bi-directional communication and coaching.
    • In addition to interactions with schools, the Regional Manager is expected to build close relationships with the local and state level government officials, the traditional and local community leaders, and Parents of the children in the school to promote the importance of education, garner support for the school and education ministry’s activities as it relates to their children and to keep a constant monitor on their feedback.
    • Must be ready to travel on a daily basis to schools in your region. The schools are situated in various communities across the state in Nigeria to which you are assigned.

    What You Should Have

    • High level of energy and enthusiasm so as to be effective in a fast paced environment with multiple demands.
    • This role would suit someone who has extensive experience doing community based work, field management expertise and strong people management and program management skills.
    • An Education Degree is a MUST, with at least 5 years of professional work experience

    Director, People

You may have retail, operations, or consulting experiences, with a strong track record managing organisations and people in very fast-paced environments.     What You Will Do

    • Ensure top-notch global People service delivery. This means ensuring that all processes that touch employee needs are running smoothly. This includes all aspects of the employee life cycle, including contracting, employee on-boarding, payroll, benefits management, office administration, administration of off-site spaces, employee engagement, staff retention and career progression. 
    • Execute on a data-driven approach across all People activities. It is your responsibility to ensure you and your team are leveraging all available data to drive decision-making.

    • Lead on design and execution of child protection and safeguarding mechanisms.
    • Supervise the Manager, Administration and Manager, People Operations and other People staff as needed to ensure delivery of all People Group programming.

    • Bachelor’s degree in business or other related field with top academic marks; MBA/grad degree a plus.

    Supervisor, School Inspection

    As a Supervisor, School Inspection you will be responsible for managing the school inspection associates and oversee the School Inspection Team to ensure all assigned roles are carried out and to ensure all issues reported to the headquarters are accurate.

    What You Will Do

    • Create extensive audits – primarily in Survey-to-Go software, to be used by School Inspection team
    • Conduct first level analyses of audits conducted by School Inspection team to identify key issues/trends to be resolved based on data gathered
    • Create regular written summary and detailed reports of School Inspection audits, issues, resolutions and recommendations
    • Create periodic presentations on School Inspection activities to State Program director and other stakeholders as required
    • Follow up with applicable Bridge managers in the affected functions to ensure resolution of identified issues in a timely manner
    • Manage a field team of over 20 School Inspection Associates
    • Oversee the School Inspection Associates to ensure all duties as assigned are carried out.
    • Manage the School Inspection Associates route maps and budgets.
    • Validate the work of the School Inspection team on a regular basis. This requires constant field travel.
    • Ensure all the issues reported to HQ by the School Inspection Associates are accurate.

    What You Should Have

    • University degree in Business Administration or Management
    • 5-7 years of professional work experience preferably working in the field or managing field teams
    • 3-4 years in Supervisory and management roles 
    • Experience managing and working with remote or field based employees
    • Experience collecting and analyzing large amounts of data in a systematic and organized fashion  
    • Solid problem-solving capability; must be proactive in solving both major and minor issues that arise
    • Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines
    • Positive can-do attitude; is able and willing to take on any challenge
    • Demonstrated capacity to plan, prioritize and deliver tasks on time to meet goals in a high pressure environment

    Officer, Communications

    Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of all mass communications channels and the ability to design content that optimises news and social media. The candidate should be capable of running digital media and handling websites. They will be an extremely effective written communicator, a planner, and creative. They should possess a  keen sense of ownership and quick execution.

    What You will Do

    • Build and maintain active relationships with media partners (i.e. education desk correspondents and editors, bloggers etc.)
    • Monitor and report media trends and  activities of EKOEXCEL, key stakeholder and key issues coverage in the media.
    • Using the professional camera equipment provided by the comms department, develop multimedia content and collateral generated from across our EKOEXCEL schools that tell the powerful story of what EKOEXCEL does and importantly how it does what it does.
    • Support management and updating of the website regularly by creating rich and engaging content.
    • Support, maintain and upload digital communications to social media platforms sharing relevant content, photographs and videos on a regular basis.
    • Support and build our events and public speaking platform across Lagos & Nigeria.    
    • Support the team in delivering the agreed departmental strategy, plans and standards.
    • Carry out research through a range of sources, including the Internet, Intranet, publications and other external contacts, including government bodies, organisations and other charities, in order to obtain relevant information that can contribute to communications strategies.
    • Work within short term and long-term communications plans as conveyed by the team.
    • Carry out stakeholder mapping and stakeholder lists management
    • Draft and produce written correspondence such as press releases, quotes, operational notes, letters, reports and other documents as required, using word processing, databases and spreadsheets to required standards.
    • Undertake specific other communications projects and activities as necessary.

    • Minimum first degree in Communications or related field.
    • 3 years experience in a core communications role (in house or agency)
    • An awareness of the media and political landscape both locally and nationally.
