    Area Sales Manager - Enugu

    Duties and Responsibilities
    Customer Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
    • Identify potential new customers and develop strategies to acquire their business.
    • Conduct regular check-ins with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
    • Promptly report any customer complaints or grievances conveyed to you.
    • Provide excellent customer service by promptly responding to inquiries and resolving issues.

    Sales and Business Development:

    • Achieve sales targets and objectives within assigned territories or accounts.

    • Participate in team meetings, sales training sessions, and company events

    Requirement

    • Experience in Sales of Snacks and Confectionaries is an added advantage.

    Van Sales Representative

    Job Description

    • The Van Sales Representative (VSR) is responsible for selling and distributing Estakem peanut snacks across assigned routes and neighborhoods.
    • The role involves driving sales vans, engaging customers, and ensuring accurate sales accounting and product accountability.
    • The ideal candidate must be persuasive, reliable, and have a good knowledge of local routes and retail points.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Drive through assigned routes to sell and distribute Estakem products to customers and retail outlets.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers and ensure product availability.
    • Convince and upsell customers to increase sales volume.
    • Accurately record all sales and collections, ensuring proper stock accountability.
    • Submit daily sales and route reports to the Sales Supervisor.
    • Monitor and report customer feedback and competitor activities.
    • Ensure proper handling, loading, and display of products in retail outlets.
    • Maintain the sales van in good working and clean condition, adhering to all road safety rules.

    Requirements

    • Must know neighborhood routes and local sales areas.
    • Proven ability to sell and convince customers effectively.
    • Ability to drive both manual and automatic vehicles.
    • Must have a valid driver’s license.
    • 1–2 years of experience in van or field sales (FMCG/snack experience preferred).
    • Basic record-keeping and arithmetic skills.
    • Reliable, honest, and self-motivated with strong accountability.
    • Good communication and customer service skills.

    Added Advantage:

    • Previous experience selling snacks or FMCG products.
    • Familiarity with route sales reporting or mobile sales systems.
