    Administrative and Human Resources Manager

    • As an Administrative and Human Resources Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our company by overseeing the day-to-day administrative operations and managing human resources. This role requires a proactive individual with strong interpersonal and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Our ideal candidate will have experience in human resource management, office administration, and a passion for the entertainment industry.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Your key responsibilities will be to:

    • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
    • Manage the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding.
    • Oversee employee relations, performance management, and employee development programs.
    • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
    • Maintain and update employee records, benefits administration, and payroll processing.
    • Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
    • Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
    • Oversee daily administrative operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Maintain and update company records, policies, and procedures.

    QUALIFICATION:

    Our ideal candidate is expected to possess the following qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree/Higher National Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or in a related field;
    • 3-year proven experience in experience in Human Resources and Administrative roles;
    • Professional qualifications, certifications, and memberships (such as CIPM, CPRM, SHRM-CP)
    • Must reside in Lagos;
    • Must have completed NYSC.

    SKILLS:

    • Proficient in the use of Google Workspace;
    • Experience with payroll systems and benefits administration;
    • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information;
    • Strong knowledge of human resource practices, labor laws, and regulations;
    • A genuine passion for people and maintaining a conducive work environment for all;
    • High attention to detail and problem-solving skills;
    • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal;
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively;
    • Excellent time management and organization skills;
    • Ability to work with minimal or zero supervision.

    Accountant

    • As our Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and compliance of our organization. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial reports, and analyzing data to support strategic decisions. You will oversee key financial operations such as budgeting, cash flow management, tax compliance, and accounts reconciliation.
    • The ideal candidate will have at least five (5) years of experience in accounting. The role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, industry-specific practices, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Your key responsibilities will be to:

    • Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and provide actionable insights to management.
    • Manage invoicing, payment processing, and collections.
    • Reconcile accounts payable/receivable and resolve discrepancies promptly.
    • Ensure timely and accurate filing of VAT, corporate tax, and other statutory obligations.
    • Oversee payroll and expense tracking.
    • Identify potential financial risks and propose mitigation strategies.
    • Work with other departments to align financial processes with operational goals.
    • Stay updated on accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations affecting the entertainment distribution industry.
    • Ensure compliance with licensing and industry-specific financial reporting requirements.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Our ideal candidate is expected to possess the following qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
    • 5-year proven experience in accounting, preferably within the entertainment industry.
    • Proficiency in Manager.io accounting software and Google Sheets.
    • Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA) is an advantage.
    • Must reside in Lagos;
    • Must have completed NYSC;

    SKILLS:

    • Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and standards
    • Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
    • Advanced skills in Manager.io accounting software and ERP systems.
    • Expertise in Google Sheets, including advanced formulas, and data analysis.
    • High level of accuracy in preparing financial documents and reconciling accounts.
    • Familiarity with federal and state tax laws, regulatory requirements, and industry-specific financial practices
    • Strong attention to detail
    • High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
    • Ability to work with minimal or zero supervision.
