    Accountant (Entry level)

    Job Description and Duties

    • Reconciling payments to ensure the accounting system reflects the correct transactions
    • General ledger reconciliations
    • Account reconciliations such as bank, inventory control, clearing, billings etc.
    • Issue receipts to customers on receipt of payments
    • Performing daily financial transactions such as verifying, calculating and posting accounts receivable data
    • Supporting the month end process
    • Generating month end reports

    Job Requirements

    • Experience in reconciling accounting figures and financial records
    • Appropriate handling of sensitive information
    • Ability to work to deadlines
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with emphasis on Excel.
    • Experience working with Accounting packages is an added advantage
    • Educational Qualifications: ND/ HND/ BSc in Accounting
    • Ability to identify errors & High level of attention to detail
    • Appropriate handling of sensitive information.

    Proposal Analyst

    Job Summary

    • The ideal candidate should be able to analyse business and commercial proposal.
    • The candidate should be smart and an excellent communicator with strong presentation skill. Adept in the use of Microsoft tool.

    Job requirements

    • Structure ambiguous problems and take action to solve them
    • Use data, facts, and logical reasoning to make rational decisions
    • Comprehend content (e.g., email, articles, spreadsheets) and synthesize into a clear and communicable format (either written or verbally)
    • Work effectively with diverse teams to come up with the best solution and move people and organizations to act
    • Establish trust-based relationships with clients to better serve their organizations
    • Communicate effectively with all audiences, including senior leaders, in a structured manner
    • Develop your leadership style, leveraging your own passions, strengths, and personal values
    • Conduct a thorough analysis of business needs and translate them into detailed functional and non-functional requirements.
    • Develop business process models and workflows to identify areas for process improvements and optimization.
    • Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to review and refine requirements, ensuring mutual understanding and alignment.
    • Work closely with development and technical teams to ensure business requirements are translated into effective solutions.
    • Perform feasibility studies and prepare project scoping and impact analysis documents.

    Documentation
    Proposals:

    • Write comprehensive proposals for IT projects, addressing business needs, technical solutions, project timelines, and cost estimates.
    • Ensure that proposals are clear, professional, and aligned with the company's strategic objectives.

    Reports:

    • Prepare project status reports, progress updates, and performance metrics for management and stakeholders.
    • Ensure that reports are timely and provide insights into project milestones, risks, and key decisions.

    Business Correspondence:

    • Manage formal business correspondence related to project initiation, changes, and closure, ensuring clear and effective communication.

    Process Documentation:

    • Maintain project-related documentation, including timelines, workflows, and procedures, and ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible for all team members.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college.
    • Have at least 5 years experience as a Proposal Analyst within the advisory/consulting industry.

    Excellent presentation skills:

    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and create an inclusive environment with people at all levels of an organization
    • Capability to drive an independent workstream in the context of a broader team project
    • Comfortablewith ambiguous, ever-changing situations
    • Ability to break down and solve problems through quantitative thinking and analysis
    • Be able to work unaccompanied and demonstrate leadership skills
    • Have commercial experience and awareness of pricing, bids and the tendering process
    • Demonstrate good problem-solving skills.
    • Have excellent oral and written communication skills.
