    Accountant

    Summary

    • The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the company’s strategic financial decisions.
    • This role requires accuracy, integrity, and a strong understanding of Nigeria’s real estate and financial regulations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and reconciliations.
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
    • Monitor cash flow, budgets, and expenditure to ensure financial stability.
    • Handle accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and payroll processing.
    • Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax laws, regulatory requirements, and IFRS standards.
    • Support audits by preparing documentation and liaising with external auditors.
    • Provide financial analysis to guide management decisions on property investments and projects.
    • Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
    • Minimum of 3 - 5 years experience in accounting, preferably within real estate.
    • Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and financial regulations.
    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, or ERP systems).
    • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
    • High level of integrity and attention to detail.
    • Candidate must reside within Egbeda and its evirons.

    HR / Legal Assistant

    Job Description

    • The HR / Legal Assistant will provide support in human resources administration and legal compliance.
    • This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can manage employee records, assist with recruitment, ensure adherence to labor laws, and support the legal team in contract management and regulatory filings.

    Key Responsibilities
    Human Resources Support:

    • Assist in recruitment processes including job postings, CV screening, and interview scheduling.
    • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
    • Support onboarding and orientation of new staff.
    • Handle employee queries regarding company policies and benefits.
    • Assist in organizing training and development programs.

    Legal & Compliance Support:

    • Draft, review, and maintain contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.

    • Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and regulatory requirements.
    • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software tools.
    • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
    • Must have been called to the Nigerian Bar and licensed to practice law.
    • Must be a registered member of an NBA branch.
    • Candidate must reside within Egbeda and its environs.
