    Accountant

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and reports.
    • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including reconciliations.
    • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements.
    • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
    • Monitor expenditures and provide cost-saving recommendations.
    • Collaborate with auditors and ensure timely completion of audits.
    • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Minimum of HND / B.Sc Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
    • Minimum of 3 years proven experience as an Accountant.
    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel
    • Good understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures
    • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
    • Strong organizational and communication skills
    • Integrity and ability to handle confidential information professionally

    Chief Financial Officer

    We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization, developing strategies to enhance financial performance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting long-term business growth.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide strategic recommendations to the executive team and the board of directors.
    • Oversee all financial activities including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial reporting.
    • Manage the preparation of all financial reports and present findings to management.
    • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and standards.
    • Direct the organization’s financial goals, objectives, and budgets.
    • Oversee investment and capital planning activities.
    • Manage financial risk and implement internal controls.
    • Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors.
    • Lead and mentor finance team members across subsidiaries.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
    • Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, or CFA is required.
    • Minimum of 10 years relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a senior financial leadership role.
    • Strong knowledge of corporate financial law, risk management, and budgeting.
    • Experience in the construction or real estate sector is an added advantage.
    • Excellent leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
    • High level of integrity and dependability.
