    Account Officer

    Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

    Overall Job Summary

    • You will be required to focus on computing and recording day-to-day financial calculations,
    • Ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, preparing taxes and checking financial
    • Records for errors.You are required to think analytically and mathematically, stay
    • Responsible for analysing trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments and obligations incurred to
    • Predict future revenues and expenses.
    • Organized, communicate clearly and have an attention to detail.

    Accountant Duties and Responsibility

    • Preparing accounts and tax returns
    • Monitoring spending and budgets and Preparing budget forecasts
    • Auditing and analysing financial performance
    • Financial forecasting and risk analysis
    • Advising on how to reduce costs and increase profits
    • Compiling and presenting financial and budget reports
    • Ensure that financial statements and records comply with laws and regulations
    • Keeping account books and systems up to date.
    • Publish financial statements in time
    • Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
    • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
    • Ensure timely bank payments
    • Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
    • Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
    • Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
    • Audit financial transactions and documents
    • Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
    • Prepare asset, liability and capital account entries by compiling and analysing account information
    • Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess an HND, Bachelor's Degree / Master's Degree in relevant fields with 3 - 5 years work experience.

    Receptionist

    Responsibilities

    • As the first point of contact for clients, you will be responsible for overseeing the front office by answering incoming calls, attending to visitors, replying to general correspondence, and dealing with enquiries.
    • Providing and helping customers fill out an enquiry form
    • Explaining the enrolment process to clients
    • Documenting client's information in the Customer Relation Management system.
    • Monitor and oversee the general cleanliness of the office.
    • Coordinate general office activities such as office courier service, office telephone, office cleaning services, office utility bills (power, water, Wi-Fi, security)
    • Be responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of office equipment, and property; arrange for repairs when necessary. Make recommendations for new or additional office equipment as appropriate.
    • Maintain a logbook on all company equipment.
    • Coordinate procurement of office supplies/stationary.
    • Logging in staff complaints in the staff book and informing management as soon as the complaints are made.
    • Monitor visitor access and maintain security awareness
    • Receive and sort mail and deliveries
    • Control inventory relevant to the reception area.

    Requirements

    • Interested candidates should possess an NCE / OND / HND, Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields
    • 1 - 2 years of work experience.

    Salary

    • N50,000 - N60,000 monthly.

    Job Brief

    • We are looking for a competent Office Assistant to help with the organization and running of the daily administrative operations of the company.

    Responsibilities
