About Magic FM
Magic FM 102.9, is a private commercial radio station based in the city of Aba, Abia State of Nigeria. It is promoted by Saturn Communications Limited (RC:403261), a limited liability company incorporated in 2001.
Saturn, which is trading as Magic FM was licensed by the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) in 2012 to broadcast in Aba and environs. By that, it became the first private radio station in Aba, the sprawling commercial city in Abia State which serves, Rivers, Imo, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Bayelsa, Ebonyi, Enugu States and Cameroon, etc. The station began full programming on May 15, 2013.
With the proposed NBC policy of transition to digital technology in mind, Magic FM took steps to become a full digital station from day one. All operations are automated. Taking advantage of latest broadcast technologies, Magic FM brings to listeners, quality programming from talk, music, sports, news, politics and entertainment.
Deploying the most reliable ICT infrastructure, Magic FM is building a large, happy and active audience in its areas of coverage, and additionally, on the internet. We reach the large diaspora contingent in West Africa, Europe, South Africa, and US, whose roots are around Abia, Imo, Anambra and Ebonyi States. Magic FM's 24-hour streaming flow on the internet has already penetrated media audiences in Lagos, Abuja, Kano, and Kaduna, who follow the station on www.magicfmnigeria.com or on other social media.
