To ensure effective dispatch of Finished Goods (FGS) from warehouse to customers and ensure that only quality and certified FGS are dispatched to customers, using transporters with current/valid Goods In Transit (GIT), in line with approved Pre-Dispatch Inspection (PDI) parameters.
Responsibilities
Dispatch of Finished Goods to customers and ensure prompt posting of same on Navision Dynamics
Ensure proper Waybill is raised for all FGS sent to customers through Navision Dynamics
Daily/monthly stock taking for Finished Goods inventory management/control and ensure variances arising are reconciled promptly
Prompt registration of trucks and ensure pre-dispatch inspection is carried out before loading on trucks.
Prepare daily dispatch report, matching with daily dispatch plan and circulate accordingly
Prepare Store Receipt Vouchers (SRV) for packaging materials received and Store Issue Vouchers (SIV) for materials used in the FGS Warehouse
Monitor packaging materials stock position and ensure re-order level is adhered.
Monitor and supervise the activities relating to issue of packaging materials to production department.
Ensure proper documentation of all items received
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Purchasing & Supply, Transportation & Logistics or related fields
1 – 3 years cognate experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Navision or any other Enterprise resource planning (ERP) software
Ability to use Microsoft office packages - Excel, Word, Power Point
