Warehouse & Distribution Manager at Perfetti Van Melle

What You will Do

• Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policy and relevant regulations.
• Overseeing warehouse layout settings to ensure space optimization
• Coordinate and enforce effective operational procedures to ensure warehouse processes are running smoothly and eliminate disruption to production schedule.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize storage and distribution operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers.
• Evaluate warehouses facilities, racks and material handling equipment and schedule necessary maintenance or replacement actions.
• Implement and drive strategies that optimizes our logistics value chain in partnership with logistics Service Providers. Coordinate with vendors, and transportation companies to manage inbound and outbound shipments effectively.
• Liaise with Haulage service providers and ensure strict compliance with Service Level Agreement.

Requirements

• Holds HND / BSc in Business or Numerical-related field.
• Master’s degree in supply chain management will be an added advantage.
• 8 – 10 Years relevant work experience.
• Minimum 3 Years at Supervisory level
• Proactive and result oriented
• Excellent analytical skills
• Expert knowledge in stock control methodologies
• Good knowledge of route optimization, carrier negotiation and timely inbound/outbound dispatch.
• Excellent knowledge of data analytics to drive operational efficiency.
• Proficiency with enterprise software (e.g., SAP).
