Warehouse Cleaner / Warehouse Assistant at Lagos Food Bank Initiative

• We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Cleaner / Warehouse Assistant to support daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will help maintain cleanliness, assist with handling goods, and ensure the warehouse environment remains safe and organized.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain warehouse floors, shelves, workstations, and surrounding areas.
• Assist with loading, unloading, moving, and arranging stock/items within the warehouse.
• Lift and carry items safely as required.
• Ensure all items are stored properly, and warehouse spaces remain organized.
• Run errands related to warehouse operations when needed.
• Dispose of waste and packaging materials appropriately.
• Support inventory handling and basic warehouse duties as assigned.
• Follow all health, safety, and company procedures.

Requirements

• Physically fit and able to lift heavy or moderately heavy items.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Good attention to cleanliness and organization.
• Punctual, dependable, and responsible.
• Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
• Previous warehouse or cleaning experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Reside within close proximity of the warehouse.
