Veterinarian at Integrated Dairies Limited (IDL)

Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site Veterinarian role located in Jos, Nigeria.
• The Veterinarian will be responsible for conducting routine check-ups, diagnosing and treating animals, performing surgeries, providing preventive care, and managing the welfare of the animals in our care.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge in Large ruminant nutrition, anatomy, and behavior
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Specialized in the handling and diagnosing of dairy cows
• Experience in herd health management
• Experience in livestock disease control and prevention
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Experience in livestock breeding and reproduction is a plus
• Bachelor's or Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from a reputable institution.
