Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and diligent Verification Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting background checks, verifying documents, and ensuring the accuracy and authenticity of information for new and existing clients. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough verification of documents and information provided by clients or employees.
• Perform background checks and confirm employment history, educational qualifications and other relevant information.
• Communicate effectively with clients, team members and third parties to gather required information.
• Maintain accurate records of verification processes and update databases accordingly.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards in the verification process.
• Identify and report any discrepancies or suspicious information promptly.

Qualifications:

• HND/Bachelor\'s degree in any field (preferred but not mandatory).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in the field of background verification.
