Job Summary:

In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of petroleum products by tanker truck to various destinations. You will ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety procedures while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and maneuver a tanker truck loaded with petroleum products.
• Adhere to strict safety protocols for loading, unloading, and transporting hazardous materials.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure the proper functioning of all vehicle components.
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation for each trip, including mileage, fuel consumption, delivery receipts, and inspection reports.
• Plan routes and maintain efficient delivery schedules, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, loading/unloading personnel, and customers.
• Report any equipment malfunctions, accidents, or safety concerns promptly.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a commercial truck driver with a clean driving record.
• Possession of a valid Driver's License.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures for transporting hazardous materials.
• Excellent map reading and navigation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
