    Truck Driver

    MAIN TASKS OR ACTIVITIES OF THE JOB:

    • Safely operate and maintain company vehicles, including cars, vans, trucks, or specialized equipment.
    • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations and maintain a clean driving record.
    • Plan and follow efficient routes to meet delivery or transportation schedules.
    • Load, unload, and secure cargo or passengers as required, ensuring the safety of all items and individuals.
    • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, reporting any issues to the appropriate department.
    • Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant data.
    • Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally.
    • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with clients, colleagues, and the public.
    • Ensure the vehicle is clean and well-presented at all times.
    • Assist with the loading and unloading of goods when necessary.
    • Adhere to safety standards and protocols, including the use of safety equipment and personal protective gear.
    • Report accidents, incidents, or traffic violations promptly to management and follow company procedures.

    SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/COMPETENCIES 

    • Previous experience as a driver is preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and routes.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Ability to work independently and handle responsibility.
    • Physical ability to load/unload cargo and perform routine vehicle maintenance.
    • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety.
    • Flexibility with work hours, including the ability to work weekends or evenings when required.
    • Clean driving record with no major accidents or traffic violations.

    QUALIFICATION:

    • SSCE, OND, NCE

    SALARY: 80K Net plus Pension, HMO, Travel Bonus and others
