    Truck Driver

    Job Description

    • Drive long distances to deliver goods to customers
    • Load and unload cargo
    • Record cargo deliveries
    • Refuel and clean vehicle
    • Report road incidents to the dispatcher
    • Follow traffic laws
    • Inspect trucks and record issues
    • Follow accident procedures
    • Drive tractor-trailer combination trucks in and between cities and over long distances to deliver products, livestock, or materials
    • Supervise freight loading and unloading, secure the freight to prevent damage, and ensure that freight weight limits are not exceeded. They are also required to maintain trip logs.
