Treasury Executive at PiggyTech Global Limited ("PiggyVest”)

As a Treasury Executive at Piggytech Global Limited, you will have direct responsibility for some of our treasury functions, including liquidity and treasury operations, investment portfolio management, interest rate risk management, investment analysis, capital management, and more. Other responsibilities include monitoring treasury goals, products, and available services and managing the company’s liquidity risk exposure.

Responsibilities:

• Support Function: Support treasury management and help develop strategies to maximize efficiencies, safeguard assets, and minimize costs.
• Investment Product Development: Initiate and drive investment product development initiatives, including the creation of product papers, obtaining approvals for product launches, and monitoring product performance metrics.
• Diversification: Ideate and evaluate long-term, sustainable income diversification opportunities.
• Investment Portfolio Records: Coordinate the management of the company’s investment portfolio records and schedules to ensure accuracy, liquidity, and profitability.
• Internal Control: Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures in the day-to-day conduct and supervision of cash management activities.
• Process Improvements: Recommend and implement improvements to current treasury management processes.
• Relationship Management: Assist in managing and deepening the company’s relationship with credit counterparties.
• Investment Trading: Recommend and implement investment trading strategies within preset risk parameters.
• Annual Budgets and Forecasts: Assist in preparing and managing annual budgets and forecasts.
• Negotiations: Support financing negotiations and capital strategy formulation.
• Financial Analysis: Provide financial analysis on investment opportunities across different asset classes to executive management.
• Models Development: Create models involving cash flow, balance sheet, and income statement projections where necessary.
• External Collaboration: Develop and maintain strong relationships with Regulators where appropriate.
• Liquidity Policies: Develop and implement liquidity policies and procedures and ensure compliance with regulators and global best practices.
• Business Processes: Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

Requirements

• At least 5 years experience in treasury and asset management.
• Familiarity with financial accounting statements.
• Membership in a relevant professional body (e.g. ICAN, ACCA, CFA, CIS).
• Good knowledge of the Nigerian SEC and investment-related rules and regulations within the Nigerian capital market.
• SEC-Sponsored individual is a plus.
• Experience in fintech is a plus.
