    Travel Consultant

    Job Description

    • The Company is seeking an experienced Travel Consultant with great enthusiasm who will be responsible for promoting and booking traveling arrangements for clients (individuals or businesses).
    • The Travel Consultant will be charged with the responsibility of determining the client’s needs and recommending the most appropriate options based on their needs, time, client’s mobility, medical requirements, budget constraints, etc.
    • The Travel Consultant will be charged with the responsibility of enhancing satisfaction and acquiring and expanding the clientele of the organization.
    • The ideal candidate for this role must be able to effectively communicate with clients and possess a high convincing power.

    Responsibilities

    • Cooperate with clients to determine their needs and advise them of appropriate schools, airlines, travel dates, costs, and accommodations.
    • Assist clients in applying for school visas.
    • Assist clients in applying to international schools.
    • Provide relevant information, brochures, and publications to clients.
    • Book transportation, make hotel reservations, and collect payment/fees.
    • Deal with occurring travel problems, complaints, or refunds.
    • Enter data into our software and maintain client files.
    • Maintain statistical and financial records
    • Respond to inquiries about our company's services and offerings.
    • Determine each client's requirements, including destinations, length of stay, and transit time.
    • Ascertaining and adhering to the available budget.
    • Selecting the most appropriate transport based on the available finances, requisite departure and arrival times, and preferred duration of transit.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or a relevant field.
    • Minimum of 2 years working experience in a similar role in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Educational travel experience will be an added advantage.
    • Excellent knowledge of computer reservations systems, GDS Systems, and e-traveling.
    • Sound knowledge of domestic and international travel trends.
    • Ability to interact, communicate and negotiate effectively.
    • Exemplary sales skills and customer-oriented approach.
    • Attractive & well-dressed.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Multilingualism is a plus.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Strong Time-management skills
