Transport Tracking Officer at Euro Mega Atlantic Nigeria Limited

Key Roles/Responsibilities

• Track, Monitor, & Report All Shipments from Factory to Depot.
• Provide on-demand detailed reports of vehicle locations and times from the tracking system.
• Provide Accuracy of Daily Updates On-Time and On-Date Status of Shipments.
• Predicts (ETA) Estimated Time of Arrival of Shipments.
• Escalate and Send Call-Outs to Head of Departments or Teams concerning shipments that are above the lead time and as well as crucial shipments.
• Prepare weekly and monthly in-transit performance reports.
• Developing and presenting improvement of reports
• Identifying on-road exceptions and taking immediate remedial action.
• Coordinating and responding to emergency situations.
• Liaising with 3PL Managers, drivers, operations personnel, and management.
• Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Reports on movements and status of 3PL trucks.
• Maintains database(s) of shipment/tracking information.
• Measure daily offloading time of depots.

Skills/Qualifications

• Graduate in any 4 years business course or other courses relevant to the job post.
• 1+ years hands-on experience in a FMCG environment.
• Excellent communication skills Analytical self-starter.
• Excellent in Microsoft excel and Google Sheet application & tech-savvy.
• Must be proficient in all modes of transportation.
• Presentation skills ability to present and communicate with confidence.
• Good interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy
• Ability to treat information, data and records confidentially.
• Knowledge and experience on SAP business solution is a plus
