Roles

• Strategically plan and manage trucks, transportation and customer services
• Keep track of delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
• Ensure pre-emptive maintenance of trucks to avoid breakdown
• Resolve any arising problems or complaints
• Carryout truck maintenance
• Experience in Mack Truck maintenance will be an added advantage
• Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
• Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
• Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements

Requirements

• Proven working experience as a transport Manager
• Must have truck maintenance experience Strong communication with drivers and customers.
• Computer literate
• Must be able to identify Truck spares
• Record of successful distribution and transport management
• Must have mechanical engineering experience
• Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
• Proficient in standard logistics software
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
