    Trader - Sesame

    Description

    • On behalf of our client, a leading trading company of agro products, we are currently recruiting for the role of Trader - Sesame.
    • As a Trader, you will be responsible for maximizing profits through the purchase and sale of sesame in West Africa.
    • You will be expected to develop and maintain relationships with local suppliers and customers, manage pricing and inventory levels, and monitor market trends to identify opportunities.
    • This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated candidate who is passionate about the agricultural sector and has a proven track record of success in trading.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement strategies for buying and selling sesame, with a focus on maximizing profits and minimizing risks
    • Build and maintain relationships with local suppliers and customers
    • Negotiate pricing and contract terms with suppliers and customers
    • Monitor market trends and anticipate changes in supply and demand
    • Analyze data and reports to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
    • Manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of products
    • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and compliance requirements

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or a related field
    • At least 3 years of experience in trading commodities, preferably in West Africa
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
    • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
    • Knowledge of local market trends and regulations
