    Trade Services Manager

    Available Opening for a Trade Services Manager in a Residential and Commercial Hub in Abuja, Nigeria

    SUMMARY:

    The role holder will be responsible for the smooth running of the hub Trade and Services Desk. The essence of this role is to drive revenues through membership and events and also create a buzz for the hub that will aid in the marketing of its real estate assets.

    • Manage and execute the hub's trade mission.
    • Start Membership Services, define and develop the products and execute the go to market plan
    • Develop, set up and sell the Business Club with flexible workspace and other amenities
    • Organize local and global events at the hub and virtually.
    • Arrange Trade Conferences / Workshops / Exhibitions at the hub and initiate an annual flagship event 
    • Build a database of the hub members and prospective members
    • Manage the Information bank, collaborate with other hub's and partners to drive Market Research services at the hub.
    • Initiate and develop Knowledge-based Services such as Research, Trade exhibitions, Education, Business referrals and Promotion at the hub.
    • Find creative ways to drive sales and revenue though the Trade Service Desk, helping more and more people enjoy the services of the hub.
    • Set up a Library and Databases on Nigeria’s Trade at the hub
    • Network with government agencies, chambers and associations not only in Nigeria but abroad in order to bring value additions to hub.
    • Liaise with the marketing division to find innovative ways to boost the profile of  hub both locally and globally

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • 5+ years of strong customer service and C –level relationships management experience.
    • A good communicator, used to dealing with customers – ideally in the hospitality or events industry.
    • Good knowledge and use of digital marketing tools with a hands on approach to problem solving.
    • Comfortable with providing sales support and closing deals
    • Positive, enthusiastic and able to adapt to fast-changing situations
