    Territory Sales Supervisor

    Job Description:

    As a Territory Sales Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing a team of sales agents within your assigned geographical area. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing the performance of sales agents, providing training and mentorship to new team members, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets and objectives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Team Leadership:

    • Lead and supervise a team of sales agents, providing guidance, motivation, and support to drive performance and productivity.
    • Set clear objectives and targets for the sales team and ensure alignment with overall company goals.
    • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates, share best practices, and foster a collaborative team environment.

    Sales Performance Management:

    • Monitor and analyse sales metrics and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to assess team performance and identify areas for improvement.
    • Develop strategies and action plans to achieve or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
    • Implement effective sales techniques and strategies to maximise sales opportunities and market penetration within the assigned territory.

    Training and Development:

    • Conduct training sessions and workshops for new sales agents to ensure they have a thorough understanding of products/services, sales processes, and customer engagement techniques.
    • Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to sales team members, focusing on skill development, product knowledge, and sales effectiveness.
    • Evaluate the performance of sales agents through regular assessments and offer constructive feedback and guidance for continuous improvement.

    Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and stakeholders within the territory to enhance sales opportunities and market presence.
    • Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Collaborate with marketing and other departments to develop targeted sales strategies and promotional campaigns.

    Reporting and Administration:

    • Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to senior management.
    • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales pipeline management using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems.


    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
    • Proven experience in sales leadership or supervisory role, preferably in [industry/niche].
    • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and trends.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
    • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
