    Technology Integrator

    Howbury School Lagos is a family oriented school committed to raising global citizens while deploying 21st century teaching and learning techniques. Our curucullum is a blend of the Nigerian and British Curriculum. Due to significant growth and in line with our commitment of providing adequate care for all pupils enrolled with us, we seek to hire a motivated, vibrant and experienced Technology Integrator. 

    Job Description:

    The Technology Integrator (TI) should have a passion for technology and a thirst for knowledge. He/she plays a key role in facilitating the use of technology in the classroom and school as a whole.  The TI should understand the strategic technology plan of the school and take the lead role with plan implementation.  The TI has several focus areas: research, implementation, teaching, and teacher training.

    Responsibilities and Skills:

    • Responsible for implementing the school’s strategic technology plan.
    • Identify trends in software, hardware, curriculum, teaching strategies, and other areas.
    • Develop best practices for instructional technology across all classes
    • Work with the Management Team to develop both short-term (1yr) and long-term (3yr) technology plans.
    • Assist teachers in developing curriculum and content utilizing technology.
    • Develop methods of incorporating interactive technology to improve learning experience.
    • Conduct technology training for teaching staff; review and recommend technology based professional development opportunities.
    • Perform ongoing evaluation of the effectiveness of the instructional technology.
    • Teach computing subject.
    • Develop a technology resource environment that can be easily accessed by all staff and pupils.
    • Perform necessary duties including but not limited to morning arrival duties, and after-school duties.

     Minimum Qualifications: 

    • Bachelor’s Degree or higher and mastery of core subject.
    • Minimum 2-5 years’ experience.
    • Excellent facilitator with the ability to motivate, direct, and train people and collaborate and interact with others effectively and productively.
    • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills with a strong attention to detail.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Commitment to excellence and ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environment.
    • Demonstrated experience in organizing, conceptualizing and prioritizing objectives.
    • Adaptability in dealing with change, delays or unexpected events to ensure the general welfare of the school.
