Technology Head at Ascentech Services Limited

Job Summary:

• We are looking for a highly skilled Technology Head to lead our technology initiatives and drive digital transformation across our integrated poultry farm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agriculture technology, poultry farming, and IT management. The Technology Head will be responsible for developing and implementing technology strategies to enhance farm efficiency, productivity, and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement technology strategies aligned with the farm's business objectives.
• Lead the design, development, and implementation of technology solutions for poultry farming operations, including:
  •  Farm management software
  •  IoT-based monitoring systems
  •  Data analytics and business intelligence tools
  •  Automation and robotics solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including farm operations, veterinary services, and finance to identify technology needs and develop solutions.
• Manage and maintain existing technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems.
• Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Develop and manage the technology budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and ROI.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in agriculture technology and poultry farming.
• Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, training, and support.

Requirements:

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Master's degree in Agriculture Technology, Poultry Science, or related field is desirable.

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of farm management software, IoT, data analytics, and automation technologies.
• Proficiency in programming languages, such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Experience with database management systems, such as MySQL or Oracle.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS or Azure.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Experience:

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in IT management, with a focus on agriculture technology or poultry farming.
