Technology Application Officer – Premier Feed Mills at Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Responsible for monitoring of research and development trials by providing supervision, training and technical support to technology application center attendants.

THE JOB

• Implement, supervise and monitor technologically innovative trials as specified in the protocol by technology application manager.
• Assisting Technology application manager in monitoring the activities of technology application center.
• Monitor and supervise the feeding of the trial flock as specified in the protocol.
• Carry out and supervise vaccination of the birds/fish according to TAC vaccination schedule.
• Monitor and supervise the weighing of the trial birds/fish at specified days in the protocol.
• Collect data as specified in the protocol for the trial.
• Assist technology application manager to organize training for the technology application center staffs.
• Assist TAM in first draft report at the end of every trial.

THE PERSON MUST

• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to design and conduct independent research studies and trials on animal nutrition.
• Proficiency in data analysis using state of the art laboratory equipment and the use of statistical software.
• Excellent analytical and time management skills to identify and prioritize needs.
• Pay keen attention to details and critical thinking skills.

QUALIFICATION

• 5 O’ level credits including Mathematics & English in not more than 2 sittings.
•  B.Sc./HND in Animal Science, aquaculture or related field.

EXPERIENCE

• 3 years’ cognate experience.
