Technician - Linesman at ETC Workforce Services Limited

Role Purpose

• We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Technician – Linesman to support the maintenance and reliability of our electrical distribution network.
• This role plays a vital part in fault resolution, equipment upkeep, and ensuring compliance with operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide input for preventive and planned maintenance schedules for the distribution network.
• Execute operation and maintenance procedures in line with company policies.
• Diagnose and resolve network faults, ensuring recurrence is minimized, especially in substations.
• Build, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical instruments and testing equipment.
• Collaborate with engineers and technical personnel to solve developmental challenges.
• Conduct inspections for quality control and assurance, and report findings with recommendations.
• Visit transformer substation sites to assess conditions and resolve technical issues, maintaining site cleanliness.
• Comply with Quality Management System and Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental objectives.

Minimum Requirements

• SSCE, GCE, NECO, NABTEB or equivalent with credit passes in five science subjects including English and Mathematics.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
• Age not more than 35 years.
