JOB FUNCTIONS

• Installs, troubleshoots, repairs, and overhauls household appliances.
• Generates invoices for repairs of appliances.
• Commissions new appliances at the customer’s location to ensure proper functioning.
• Conducts test runs on appliances.
• Coordinates with the main office and end-users and provide product maintenance and support.
• Works with company architect for kitchen layouts.
• Works with site architect, plumbers, and electricians in ensuring appliances are placed according to design plans.
• Reviews all electrical circuit diagrams and test circuits to identify short-circuit.
• Ensures tidiness of work area.
• Keeps records of all appliance checks and test results are signed off with end-users and properly filed.
• Provides technical support and maintenance services.
• Ensures all safety requirements are adhered to during installation or maintenance.
• Ensures faults are reported promptly and repairs are carried out.
• Repairs appliance properly and maintains minimum disbursal for parts.
• Maintains the company vehicle properly and ensures proper records are kept.
• Sends report on-site observations and recommendations to the technical supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Electronics Engineering or any related discipline.
• 1 - 3 years experience working as a technician (in electrical/electronics).
• Experienced in electrical analysis and electronics.
• Experienced in troubleshooting.
• Experienced in reading electrical circuits.
• Knowledgeable in theoretical and practical electrical engineering.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office tools.
